Sorry peeps no pics doh.gif so have three clones in 1inc rockwool cubes taken 8 days ago...have another 12 taken 4 days ago same cubes (soaked in a very weak seaweed solution) ... these are in home made incubators under blue 125wt viro light...here could be the crux..used aolivias rooting gel sealed bottle but over one year old..says shelf life "approx one year" on bottle..but as it was sealed thought i'd give it a go...however all the clones seem to be wilting now including the 3 originals that were looking good....could the gel be killing em nea.gif or is it normal for em to wilt unsure.gif

Any advice gratefully recieved .... yinyang.gif wink1.gif

Might have to remove a couple of the lower leaves or just trim some more off, mine have wilted the last two batches and perked back up a day or so after removing more leaf material, could be temps causing the roots to be stunted, do you have any pictures and perhaps a bit more info like rH level lights on and off temps, how big the clone was when you cut it? anything else you can think of.

Light is on 24 hr bout 1 1/2 ft above em ... took clones of 8 week old SS .. about 4ins before trimming ..so bout 3incs aftr trim ... you could have point about to much leafage .. don't have pics and no thermometre(gonna buy one 2mrrw)....the grow area is in my lounge under my stereo shelf so the temp should be okay but no def numbers...i did trim the leafs as suggested on this site ounder the taking clones thread...

Cheers for your advice steevo.. yinyang.gif

I always have had sucess using Oliveas, and will continue using it. I will usually lose 1 or 2 clones out of 10 ,but the 8 will root in a week yo 10 days. I woudnt worry, if its sealed it shouldnt be contaminated .

If they are still wilting tommorow morning you could try propping them up with a straightened out paper-clip or cocktail stick wink1.gif

edit to add, the night time temps up here are real cold, if they are in a 'room temperature' environment they will struggle to root.

Hi

Putting them onto 18/6 wont do them any harm.

And yes 3.5 ltre pot should be fine to flower in,are you flowering straight away once they root?

Ive got a pog clone in a 4 inch pot and alls well, but i wont be expecting alot from her,ran outta pots thats all.

Goodluck with them.

20/4 is the best light cycle wink1.gif

Keep your temps and humidity up and make sure your blocks arent soaking. They will droop slightly as they begin to put out root. wink1.gif
