The other day I read someone was looking to buy a bag of mixed seeds from phukka, they would have cost £50 .. this guy only appeared to want them cos they had a jack herer seed in there somewhere..

you can get 5 bags of 10 mixed seeds from the 420 store for £45.. say £50 including p&p.. I know what i'd do!!

I used Sensi seeds before with great results, they might be pricey but are worth it.

I've grow out Sensi Skunk which was excellent and also their Affie #1 which i'd happily recommend too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend their beans ahead of say DP's . smile.gif

Edited to add, germ rates were 100% if memory serves. biggrin.gif

so if i put 8 plants in a four pod system each pod will have at least a femali in?

I'm smoking shiva skunk from sensi at the moment, lovely taste a bit like grapes, good yielding plant too, a friend has some super skunk drying that looks and smells nice.

in my experience you have to be a little bit selective with sensi, price isn't always a good indicator of quality with them, their g13 x hashplant is expensive and it's some of the worst weed I've ever tried whereas their skunks are pretty reasonably priced and I haven't tried a bad one yet .

wot would u recommend then?

jack herer, skunk no1,n.lights and their n.lightsxhaze have all been doing it for me inside over the years .

outdoors we have had success with their o/door mix, early skunk and early pearl....found their early girl to be a bit disappointing tho

just cracked a lone superskunk from sensi and its a female ,stinks like the old school super skunk so fingers crossed,id say they have good genetics and an even better name for themselves

Were those the "mixed indicas" ?

How did they turn out flavour-wise ?

Is this your first grow? I wouldn't recomend Sensi's expensive seeds for your first grow. Although i hear they had some good strains you can also see great reports from other seedbanks in this forum. Why don't you try out with some less expensive beans first? There's a lot of quality beans in UK420's store that u can purchase for a tenner.

Sensi's skunk #1 is pretty consistent - very reliable - if a little lacking in the flavour department.
I reckon everyone should grow it at least once as a sort of datum.

The £10 Tiki mix I just grew was very good and I will probably grow it again - though you will need an extra foot of height to cope with any sativa phenos.

Yer can't go wrong with a bit of skunk no1
