Just thought i would add these!

A photo of the new flower room im building and my power board!These are in my diary,but couldnt resist!

The board is to run 2x600w HPS and 1 400w MH,6inch and 10inch fans,and all other aplications!

The only thing i have to do is add a thermostat to it to control a 2kw heater(set on low)!

To stop the glow!

Can I just say I'm glad I don't have to wire up a board like that.

Just dont burn your hands on them ballists, Im guesing thats what them 3 big white boxes are.. May get a bit hot for them to but I cant really see these problems happening.

Now you just gota find out which plug is which

one thing i would suggest though is not to wrap the wires up in coils like that though i head that it can be pretty bad for the wires

Ive seen alot worse,will shorten a lead here and there,not to hard!

And can you tell im not a spark yet

I have to take power from the house put through a breaker box then into board!

Does any sparks know if its a good idea to take the ballast lids off and train a fan on them?

Serious i have seen some proper time bombs,ballasts hanging from there wires!

If i can afford one,there is a automated fire system!£120 which would bring some peace of mind!

And the ballasts are old,they have been with me for awhile!

But they have good bits in them!

It aint no looker

But it will keep everything off of the floor,for many reasons!

And just to clear things up,i will be paying for this leccy,and with a bit of luck and skill

Will have 18 plants in there!

Hey Frankie - nice board! I should really get my system abit more along those lines.

You mentioned a fire control system for £120 - is that like an automatic fire extinguisher? (cause I've got a couple of those, 2 x 1m square ones which were £28, and a 5m squ. one which was £60)

Just wondering if you (or anyone else;)) have knowledge of anything a bit more sophsticated, that doen't cost a bomb?

Removing the lids will help vent heat but its not going to be that much of a problem in a room ur size imho,
If you put a 4mm x 3c swa in u can protect it with a 32A mcb.
