I have not done a grow for about 3 months now because i wanted some new hydro gear

and guess what?............i have finished shopping!!!!!!

I hate to think how much this has cost in total so i try to ignore it

to start it off i have-
120cm x 120cm x 200cm grow tent

inside i have
1 x 100mm TD-160 sucking air in

1 x 125mm RVK with a 5" filter hooked up to a speed controll sucking the warm air out

[attachmentid=108914]

1 x 4 plant flood and drain system with all the fittings (i.e timer,pump,drain fittings) plus the is a nutra-wand and water heater there too

lighting is 1 x 125watt enviro for veg and 1 x 400watt hps for flowering

And not forggeting!!!!

1 x box of goodies
nutrients,p/h tester,oil maker,tape,rockwool cubes,seedling cubes...and all that other stuff you need

oh and i can not forget about the most important thing of all!!....seeds!!

i think really all i need now is a air pump and air stone and away i go!!!

i will be starting this grow after the new year i hope

i have tested the tent for light leaks and all is a'ok

Definately happy days ahead dan! do you have a fan speed controller and or thermostat? to be honest I can't see you having any 'too hot' issues!

i was'nt to sure about getting the tent at first because of the storys you hear of light leaks....and the last thing you want is to spend almost 200 quid on a poo tent!

but i gave it a test with the 400 hps in a dark room and there is bugger light coming out of it

I tell ya what tho...it says it only takes 10 mins to put away......bloody liars...it takes ages to fold the frigging thing back up!!

im now looking at a small NFT system to put in there and change my veg light to 200watt enviro and knocking my hps up to a 600watt

Just one thing...Maybe you should think about swapping the fans around and have the TD160 as extraction and the RVK125 as intake,this will create negative pressure helping with any odour probs.
If the larger is left for intake, air will be pushed out through the tent bypassing your filter...

Edit to add: Just noticed you have fan speed controllers
Still,swapping them might give you greater control...

i had to open it and put it up and see how all my grow gear looked inside it

looks good, u done a good job

i can adjust the speeds on both fans
the TD-160 has 2 options for speed fast and slow
and my rvk is hooked up to a speed controller

tell my misses that.......the moody bum!

I reckon you might get away with the 600w!

But change back to the 400w in summer,unless you got a aircon unit lurking about?

How about a air called reflector/extractor system,as i reckon you really want that 600w?

and im not to sure myself but..how many plants can you fit under a 400watt HPS in my grow tent (120cmx120cmx120cm) without scrog'ing
and how many could i fit in there if i was to scrog?

You will be fine with that man. I changed the cabs I had for two of the exact same tents (currently using one) I have a RVK 150 intake spitting to the two tents and each tent using a RVK 100 to extract and I have 600Watt Ajusta-Shade lighting and with fan controllers the intake isnt even on full and with heatin on the the house it never goes above 32C. Also with The NFT-1000 tanks.

About the SOG i worked out at max fitting with decent space left over for single cola style (although im now not doing SOG) was 49 plants per tent, in 7x7 for the 3" cubes with the 1000 tanks.

Look for some pea/bean netting from your local garden centre for the scrog, should have about 2 inch square holes, plenty of room for bending and shoving stems under the net without breaking the stems.

And I hope after buying all that gear your booking your credit card into rehab.

finding a bucket to fit the bags is turning in to a mission and a half!!!!
i cant really walk around the shops with bubble bags in my sky rocket

for some reason out of all my new gear i just cant wait to use my bubble bags!!!!

think i'll have to invest in a set of those at some point.

hope the bucket search goes well

let us know what size you end up with save me from going through the same mission

well i did find some buckets but they are to shallow, i might have to cut the bottom out of one and place it on the other......nothing is ever easy!
