HI!

Would be nice to hear reports on this..

I've grown 3 crops and this is the One and Only for me. Easy to grow, no problems with pests and makes huge main colas..

Not sure about the origin, but all clones are from same mother guitar.gif

No topping needed, grows fast to bush and use all space available..

I've tried with 400W HPS and 400+250W..

Here's the 3rd try:

Hey nortti,

Good luck on your grow this time!
Apollo 11 has quite few fans on this site, AFAIK, it would be nice if we all chip in to build a good strain report!

For me, too, A11 is the best daytime weed I've found so far, I love it!
Very cerebral and cool, not as euphoric as C-99, but then again not as edgy/nervy/para.
It's not weak, either, actually fairly strong, it just doesn't debilitate you.

The version of A11 I use is not 100% pure, it's a Spice Bros offering (sadly no longer available) that has a bit of Viet and Haze in it. I might try for some F2 seeds at some stage.

Nevertheless it still finishes in very good time (< 60 days), is massively crystal-covered, has very, very low odour, and is hardy as hell. I actually put a tiny clone out in September (UK 51 N - around the time I'd normally be harvesting! biggrin.gif ) and it managed to last well into mid-November, with constant rain and three frosts! Pests didn't bother too much, either, and it's OK with low levels of light, too.

Definitely a candidate for outside growing, which was a real surprise. You wouldn't normally think of A-11 as outdoor, would you? But, of course, it's those wonderful crystal covered indoor grows where it really shines!

I germed 2 F2's from Joey Weed. One popped the suface but never grew and died. Luckily the other was a female. This Apollo grew vertical very fast yet was also very bushy. This would be a great SCRoG strain.

I topped her at 10 in., flowered her at 15 in. She finished just short of 3ft. in 7 weeks. The stems were very weak making supporting mandatory. Dense buds w/ thick bright orange hairs. Resin production was outstanding.

Yield was not huge but 1.2 oz of one plant is good enough for this kind of quality. The high is tremendous. Mostly in the head but if you smoke enough you will have to sit down. I can't wait to grow this stain again. I am so impressed I will be trying other Bros. Grimm genetics in the future.

I love A11! Gert described the high perfectly. Here's my specimen from Spice Brothers:

Hi!

I wouldn't think even outdoorgrowing.. Living so far north.. but tried it on my balcony.. for fun mostly..
I was surprised how 'strong' this strain is.. Even leafs are VERY worth of smoking.. IMO
Every gardening friends have been very satisfied growing this one..

Maybe I have to start planning some outdoortry.. Have no interests to be busted 3rd time in a year ...
Damn..

I don't know, where this A11 is from, got some clones from more experienced grower than me.. And I was VERY SURPRISED even with my first try.
Vertical Grow is amazing, I had usually topped only once and then only trimmed and tied main colas.. Resin production is really nice to see smoke.gif
