[attachmentid=106402][attachmentid=106404]Hi again this is the flower room set up,2/3 600w Hps,the pots etc will be gone,black/white floor to ceiling rockwool and ADF on roof,10inch out 6inch in,11ltr pots on a NFT system so run to waste, will be using a mix of coco and clay balls, wanted dripp system but will be running 5/6 strains in there indica and sativa so thats a no go!

A little help and advice would be proper!

And should i run my lights a night like i normally do!?????

Thanks in advance!

looks like its in an outhouse type garage thing?
if so then i would run the lights at night as long as its all light proof, and also block that window at the back (i kbow you know that already but i had to say it tongue.gif ) only other thing you can do is get a min/max temp guage in there and see what the temps are in the night and morning, so you know wether or not you need to get a heater in there. maybe some insulation as well to keep the heat in and the cold out.
i think that should be fine though,
good one Frankie

wink.gif Cheers mate, was thinking of having the exit through the window as there is a nasty arse evergreen thorned bush(i forget the name)in front of it and with a 10inch extracter reckon it wont have to run that fast, will have 6inch coming in from air brick, primair analouge controller and a 2k heater on a thermostat i thought!??

The ballasts and sockets are already on a board which will be bolted to the wall to the left of photo, this i made and have used for a few grows whistling.gif

Got to get a consumer unit tomorrow, have armoured cable etc!

But i reckon im gunna have my hands full with this 1 with so many strains, but i need to find the perfect mums!Know wot i mean?

Thanks

wink1.gif The medium is coco and clay pebbles being hand fed,the pots sit on the NFT tray and when watered the excess waste(run to waste) gos down the tray into the 100ltr tank and is then pumped into the garden(waste)

The res is going to be located on the right of the photo, will prob need a couple,as different strains!,with air stones heaters and aux pumps!?????

looks spot on mate... i agree that B+W will do the trick fine.. so would painting the walls with white paint..

i would be carefull with temps though... where i live any plants living in small huts/shedsoutdoors in the winter needs good insulation and a thermostatic heater, regardless of when you run the lights.. you may be in a warmer climate than me though.. if your not you may consider getting a thermo pond/tank heater for your nute tank too

good luck with it mate, im sure you will do well wink.gif

yea i dont realy understand what your tring to do with the pebbels and coco, nft is where the roots are exposed to the air and i film of nutrents is constantly being run over the taproots at the bottom, any way if your gona use those pots on the floor put some sort of insulation down like stirafoam or somthing

good luck with what ever you end up doing

wink1.gif Basically forget NFT,the 11ltr pots of a mix of coco and clay pebbles, are sitting on a NFT tray that acts as a drain only, when i water i water so i get a 10% run off,so the NFT tray is being used as a big saucer, then when that is full i pump the waste out of the tank into "normal" garden????????

And also it keeps the plants off of the floor, for a better air circulation and to stop the cold floor touching them!

I have used NFT with the matting rockwool blocks,Poxy black plastic gear(template)i had good results but i dont like the idea of the plants sitting in there own crap,i used to let the EC rise then add about 50% RO water to level it out during the week!

In a non recirculating system like mine, the res has to be sorted only twice, the day you mix the food etc and the next day when things have settled down a bit, then its ready!

If i was only doing one strain in there i would set up a auto drip feed system, alot easier than it sounds, using spagetti tubing a pump a timer,a flow meter and water filter and of course drippers,After setting the timer so all plants get a feed it basically is very low maintenace, just refilling res every 7/10 days and no poncing about with the EC and Ph,cos it wont change!

See what i mean yet?

Thanks

FP

Ps the res will be similar to the bin you can see to the right of the photo, will prob use a 100ltr dustbin!
In the res the food will be pumped around, heated and have air stones and pumps!

wink1.gif Was a bit confusing then so am i!

Thanks for your feedback mate and i hope to have a good un,will take photos and post,as have quite a few strains lurking about, but the way i see it i shall have a nice choice of bud and with quite a few plants on the grow, wont be buying lame green!

My pal was in the dam and they tried selling him the same adulterated bud,and even tried to palm off 8 different types as the same bud! rofl.gif
