I found out today that lumatek have a 750watt digital ballast that they claim produces 20% more useable light than a standard coil 1000watt ballast. although i have been unable to find out who would supply a bulb for this ballast.

does anyone have any info on this?

i think they are only available in america i would like one myself

I haven't used/seen one myeslf, but I must say that I am dubious about these claims that a 750 will produce 20% more useable light than a 1000 C&C. I believe that the digis are more efficient, yeah - but I don't believe all the other hype that's going round about them.

didn't lumatek say there was no radio interference as well? I would take anything that company says with a huge pinch of salt. Also, I've never seen a 750 watt bulb in any of the uk shops as of yet.
