hello all, although iv been told by many people that female seeds 'skunk special' is a pain in the arse, iv got and poped 4 beans. aparently its not a nice smoke and is a bastd to grow..? is this true? most reports iv read are grown in soil with organic nutes, has anyone got any experience growin this strain or type in hydro??? or shal i put a grow diary/ review on here? im growing in nft under a 600w hps, growth technology nutes. there drinking dilute formlex at the mo

seeds dont go too well in hydro as they share the same feed, some need more some need less, best grow the plants for a bit (soil is good for this) then root your cuttings of a good looking female in rockwool cubes. once rooted place best examples on nft table

I've grown Skunk Special by Female Seeds in hydro with 400 HPS light. No problems at all.

Yep i grew it too, no problems even with the stress i gave em due to my inexpeirence, not a bad smoke either

I'm just about to harvest some skunk special from female seeds. There were no problems at all growing it (despite numerous mistakes on my part because it was a first grow), and it looks like it's going to be a decent yield. From an early sampler I've got no complaints at all about the quality. In fact I like it so much I've got a mother on the go and two cuttings for my next batch to go in as soon as I harvest.

i got some growing atm also. only 50% germ rate, but they are INCREDIBLY bushy, with a thick stem, yet they are only 8-9 inches tall.
i stopped using halide after 3 wks and changed to sodium so that may be why. one specimen looks suspiciously kush-like in my opinion.
Mine have suffered a bit of MG deficiency, but that's only an issue cos I have no epsom salts left. Other than that a pish of piece
