OK, i've heard a lot of good about Durban Poison but did a search and most ppl have grown Dutch Passion's Durban Poison which is also I believe, a skunk cross. Anyone grown High Quality Seeds' Durban Poison?

How much will the two seed companys Durban Poison vary?

Has anyone grown this particular strain. Can anyone give me more info on this particular strain, just a few words will do!?

All I have found out about High Quality Seeds' South African Durban Poison X Skunk is:

It's tall-87% Sativa
Cerebal buzz/sativa high
THC level 8-15%
8-10 weeker
400-500g scrog per sqm

Im guessing it likes to stretch a lot, am planning some kind of scrog once i get a decent mother...

I haven't grown High Quality Seeds version, but I grew out African Seeds' Durban Poison from Dutch Passion a couple of times (it's not a skunk cross though). The 1st time I scrogged it to keep the height down, for the 2nd I let it grow normally after topping once. If I was to grow it again (which I might), I'd go with scrog again. It is a bit of a height monster and one topping without a scrog net wasn't enough to keep it going through the roof (I've got an overall height limit of 6ft). The thing I found about topping this particular strain was that the 2 new top shoots tended to grow out almost horizontally from the stem, leaving a weakness where they met in the middle - bad enough for one branch to snap off one of the plants 34.gif I didn't have this problem with the scrog grow as the training strengthens the stems and the net gives support.

As to the high, it was heady and quite powerful.

The UK420 store doesn't have Durban Poison by Dutch Passion atm, so I'd probably go with Seedsman's as it is similarly described.

Happy growing whatever you decide to do. smile.gif
