I just thought I would divert anyone interested in these seeds to my little grow.

I sowed ten seeds and got 100 percent germination - though I have 3 runts struggling to get going.
I'm hoping they might be slightly blueberry flavoured though. guitar.gif

Man everyone is doing tha inside thing. Im just scared to jump on the band wagon. What I had outside was absolutely beautiful until I trans-planted it and it got shoked. I brought it back but for some reason she turned on me and started producing so many seeds that I killed her doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

Indoors is a brilliant hobby - been doing it for 12 years now guitar.gif

I'm going to start doing some micro grows to work out the size / efficiency curves.

Indoors is generally very low risk too - unless you let people share your home shock.gif

Hello Compostverte,

Looking good.

Do you think you will be able to work out what is a what when they get a bit bigger?

If it's anything like the Tiki mix, I got one pheno which looked very like one particular catalogue variety.

Part of me is a trainspotter who would love to have a collection of pure, labelled land-races, but I'm finding the uncertainty of mixes great fun and super value for money and it's enhancing my skills more than a clone crop would.

I already have some nice indica flavours developing during the cure and am looking forward to some sativas in this batch - some of them are already looking likely candidates smile.gif

i am thinking of giving this mix pack a go myself, although i reckon i'd need a clear room beforehand.it's chocka until january..... smoke.gif
you are sure to get a monster hybrid or two there, no chance of starting a micro grow with these beans, IMO.

Thought it was about time I updated this smile.gif

10 weeks of 12/12 and I have 5 very diverse plants.

Of the 3 sativa phenos, I have one whose buds are quite indica in structure. The main cola is so heavy the stem couldn't support it and a few days ago I opened the cupboard doors and it flopped over almost 360 degrees 34.gif ... I've tied it to a cane and it seems to have survived the trauma - should be ready for harvest soon anyway.

There is a second sativa that is similar in scale to a skunk#1.

And a third which is very sparse and tree-like, (but the total buddage should add up) - in spite of an accidental topping well into flower whistling.gif

Of the two indica phenos - despite being runts, they have fattened up nicely - one with indica budlets, the other with sativa style running budlets.

All the aromas are sweet and citrussy.

I will try to get some decent photos up later.

A first smoke report - much earlier than expected. And something of a sad story.

[attachmentid=119742]

Jarring this one after 12 days' drying took me right back to the skunk#1 I was growing in the mid-90s. I was almost gagging on the fumes. I was wondering recently how come I used to be able to smoke my home-grown without curing ...

A lovely fresh, pungent, piney, almost aniseed taste, and a lovely "up" high without anxiety. This will be my gourmet ganja for special occaisions. Unfortunately circumstances prevent me keeping mothers at the moment. sad.gif

A repeat order will be going in shortly in the faint hope I get a similar pheno.

Here we are. 8 ounces of excellent smoke. (according to my kitchen scales.)

5 phenos from the sativa end of the spectrum. All of them fresh and tasty (a lot of piney aromas) and improving almost day by day in the jar. If I was keeping mothers I would be spoilt for choice. guitar.gif

I will most certainly be growing these genetics again.

my grow room is 8.75 square feet worked out with the ozstoners grow room calculator

and i need to no do u think i could run 2x 250 watt hps's in my grow room with no extraction mabie blow a fan over the lights too cool them down a bit

what do the temps get to in ure gr with out the extractor fans on if youve ever tried

erm...was going to ask somthing else now but i cant remember doh.gif ahh well

No ventilation, no plant growth I'm afraid. Plants are mostly made of the carbon in carbon dioxide. Plus the temperatures will rise alarmingly.
I used to "sort of" get away with a single 250 watt in a cupboard with the door shut - but it was a very leaky cupboard in a very leaky house.

After that there's a sliding scale ...

I manage with my present cupboard because I have the doors half open most of the time.

How tall is your cupboard ?

I wouldn't recommend using two small lamps unless that's what you already have, or, as in my case, the cupboard has one dimension that's too long for a single lamp to cover efficiently.

Well done Compostvete.

They look really well in your hands and we are so satisfied you enjoyed them as these Mixes are really special as we can release for all soem different genetics which have been used and/or preserved around here.

There are many chances to find different aromas, different type of flavours as these genetics are not usually offered in the commercial market.

Enjoy the fruits of your labour
Best wishes
Kaiki

Thanks kaiki,

I was a bit sceptical about them at first, but they turned out to be rather special.
I have half a packet left and Joolz will be sending me another packet once they're available, so that later in the year I can start making mother plants for the future. guitar.gif

Have any pics of this type in the dried form ?
Looks like some nice bag appeal wink.gif
compostverte
I'm afraid I'm rubbish at macros, but the bud structure ranges from chewy indica to fluffy sativa.

All of them are very tasty. guitar.gif

I don't know anything about bag appeal - my buds are kept in jars wink1.gif

Goog god that looks yummy, which one is that ?
compostverte
I'm guessing one of the 2 or 3 more indica phenos might be that particular cross.

None of the 5 plants was as solidly pure indica as the Tikis I grew before.

Tanx compost, good to have the smoke.gif info

Reading composition of the lots we dont use to include 100% typical indica profile plants yet. Our opinion and goal was to reintroduce several unknown sativas as market has a tremendous lack of sativa diversity as you all know. Work on Deluxe Mixes and work on ACE hybrids can make you easely understand and confirm these concepts

The use of indicas with sativas tend to make them much more handy for indoors as well as timming sometimes were drastically reduced to be able to work them like I said
