Ive got two mother plants both with thrips would it be ok to still take cuttings of em but soak the cuttings i make in pest off?
would that kill the bastards without harming the cuttings?
any help appreciated..
EDIT: ima let the mothers die once ive made the cuttings I need ive got a lemon mum on the go somewhere else..

Personally i'd sort the thrips out first then take cuttings, you should only need to spray twice if your thourough, so it'll only set ya back a week or so. It'll be a lot easier trying to sort the thrips out on 2 mums than a room full os cut's.

The RHS recommend derris plus as do i, i've used it on thrips and it deals with em in one treatment.

well I took 8 cuttings of it earlier and dipped them in the pest off stuff but Im gonna get the thrips under control before taking more I think,
where do I buy that derris stuff from? it looks good to me but does'nt say anything abaat killing thrips..

Scotts 'Bug Clear' did the job for me (the concentrate, not the ready mixed stuff ), 14ml per litre, nukes 'em.
