ok i got room for a 12ft length , 7.5ft height , 7.5ft width grow room , got seperate area im going to use for veg / seeds etc . problem is ive not done a grow area as big as this , so i'll try tell you about the system im buying first :-
Nutriculture 20 plants, complete grow kit, 2 x 600w Grow Light

Dimensions: 175cm x 96cm

Comprises: 2 x 600w HPS growlight, triple channel growing area, top plate, 15 gallon tank, stand, submersible pump, flow control valve, 100ft of spreader mat, pH test kit, 250ml phosphoric acid, tank cover, 1litre power-grow (leaf/flower). 64" x 34" x 2"

now im building this area within a room with wood & gyproc , & using black&white inside
i plan to hopefully grow around 15 plants in this system

what size of fans will i need for the grow area & how many as im a bit lost with that part on a bigger scale .
will the lights be enough for that amount of space & 15 plants . i also have a 400w hps if needed but then more fans would be required , thanks for any help/ideas .

One thing I will add for ya is that you have 90sqft of grow space so to light it adequately you need 4500w of light

So you dont need me to tell you that you are gonna want some big fuck off fans

damn think im gonna have to shorten the length then as ive not got that amount of light , if i shorten it to say 7 feet in length , would the lights i have be enough then ? thanks for your help owderb . also can you tell me size of fans id need with the shorter room , i just cant ffigure it out , again thanks for help

As to lighting the space mate, if you are planning to use 2x600w you should work on the assumption that this will adequatly light a space of 1.5 x 3m (or about 5 x 10 ft). Then as to aitflow, this is a personal preferance thing - I like a big airflow so I'd advise big fans but different people have different ideas to this. You don't want anything smaller than a 4" intake and a 6" outlet. But I'd go bigger. You can always reduce their power with a dimmer if need be.

Another thing is that you mention having a 400w light aswell - well 2x600w hps with a 400w mh in the middle is a lovely light mix and you can add another 1m squared to the grow room size.

Thats still 50sqft so you would need 2500w to light that space adequately Gro

If you have 1200w of light then a 6x4ft space would be ideal to maximize your lumens

But your ventilation is gonna have to be up to it
