hey guys, ive been hidin in the shadows for a month or so and thought it was about time i joined your community. as many of you know, theres been a bit of a drought in ireland and where i live the price of hash has more than doubled to £100 an Oz!
so last night i bought some white widow off a dealer friend, it cost £60 of 5g. does that sound right? so anyway, outraged at crazy prices, i just bought some lights off ebay and will be startin my first grow when they arrive! (dont know why i didnt think of this sooner)

thanks for the welcome guys, much appriciated. do you grow yourselves? what would you suggest to be the best strain for a 1st time indoor grower? i was in afrika a few years ago and got half a kilo of the sweetest smoke ive ever encountered but dont have a clue what it was (it was the cheapest also, only £2!). man, id love to smoke that stuff again!

Have a look at the uk420 seed bank ..... plenty of quality beans at very reasonable prices....


Durban poison may be what you smoked back then.... but trust me .... whatever you grow...

I know exactly where you're coming from with the 60 for 5g malarky...

It was the same here in the midlands, some cheeky feckers had the gaul to charge £10 for a gramme, when weighed on proper scales it only weighed in at .8 to .9 of a gramme.

I'm soooo glad the drought now finally appears to be over.

thanks, im sure ill be needin a bit of advice from time to time. im going to be using soil and ive ordered 3 cfl's for veg and a 250w hps for flower. when i get seeds i think ill only grow 4/5 at a time- space is quite limmited. lights should arrive in a fortnight or so..... cant wait

£100 for an Oz of soap is crminal.

hey m8 I'd be careful when buying off ebay, its not very secure, you can get everything you need here.

your in the exact same situation as me man , its not just ireland who have the drought i was sold 1.5 gram the other day for 30 quid!!! i didnt turn it down either its been so long scince ive had some smoke that although it was a small bit for a high price it looked too good damn tasty to turn down , these are harsh times
i also wish i had started my grow sooner
