I agree gardners delight are so flavourful.

They are cherry toms which always have a more concentrated flavour to my mind.

They're an old variety so probably not particularly disease-resistant or high-yielding, but they wipe the floor with "vine-ripened" shop-bought.
That said, I never had any problems and they always yielded more than I could eat

I grew gardeners delight this year.
Just three plants in a grow bag was enough to keep our fridge stocked from the first pick right up until last week.
I have never grown toms before and am completely dumbfounded by the taste! I wont be able to eat a shop bought tomatoe again!

Just to agree, gardener's delight! Best toms I've ever tasted. Been growing them for more than 10 yrs. Just fill a fruit bowl and grab a few evrytime you pass it

This year I grew Santa F1 Cheery Plums, they were okay.
But my best this year were Red Cherry, I am STILL picking tom's from this one now, the most fantastic flavour (I have excelllent soil).
Can't beat homegrown toms for taste

Even Moneymaker is edible when properly grown and ripened, but I usually went for Shirley and Alicante for my big cooking tomatoes.

i did a baby plum called pomadorino that i was really pleased with, squeezed the seed out of some fruits bought from the supermarket, so wasn't expecting too much grown outside, but they cropped really heavily with a delicious flavour. will deff do again. regards gg x xx
