never really used canna for pain at all, however been doing a bit of exorcising lately, and was wandering if canna would be benificial to remove muscle soreness from that..

i somewhat recall that i heard somewhere it helps to immobilize the lactic acid that causese muscle soreness, is that true? or did i just dream it up?

thanks for the input in advanced

nope your right apparantly - don't know the ins and outs of it but body builders use weed to stop lactic acid build up I think.... Arnie the Governator was a toker when he was a muscle kiddy wink1.gif

now i know there are worse people than me here on the 420
i still go to work so dont smoke during the day and become very tense throughout
but i'd like to say
after having a car accident 97/98..(ive smoked since 89)
and having neck shoulder and thoratic region pain
(went for 5 x-rays yesterday)

my muscles/neck/shoulder have always ached
i used to lift lead ..but had to give that up

i've had a stomach operation and this has put me off the weights even more

but at least i do feel relaxed and sleep well .....for 4 hrs then im awake and cant get comfortable
i will then more than likely get up a 3-4 in the morn and have another so i can drift off again

(looking at a king size bed this weekend according to the missus yahoo.gif )

and also after having the stomach operation ...at least i have an appetite and manage to eat some food
just that i never know what i fancy!!! stoned.gif

Nope, you'll have read that cos I've written it a few times lol.gif Except that it helps to mobilise the lactic acid, not immobilise. Whether this is scientifically correct or not, I am unsure but it seems to work when you're training... I got it from a bodybuilding book i read back in the late 80s that said that Arnie and Bertil Fox were tokers - although I haven't seen it, I believe Arnie is seen toking a reefer in Pumping Iron.

I read somewhere that smoking before you work out is very bad for you. Something about higher pressure in your veins which damage the inner walls. but smoking after working out is a great feeling! thumbsup.gif
