Hi all, these cuttings were taken 10 days ago. Can anyone tell me if the light green colour is normal or do i need to add something? Been feeding them watered down Coco A&B nutes.. 0.3ml per letre, less to start em off.. It looks like the new growth colour i get on my veging plants after their dark period..

Thanks in advance for any advise. unsure.gif

Feeding fresh cuts??? How will they use it without roots? Sorry, I do not understand what you're doing here or why.
Just allow the cuts to root, they should not need daily attention. When rooted, then they can be potted up and when its needed, food added. But right now I think you're just killing them in a toxic sludge if you keep adding nutes surely?

Thanks guys, ill just mist em with water from now then, i can't see any roots yet.
I'm a noob grower still flowering my first plant and all these different methods of growing are very confusing.
I gave them a weak nute mix after following BushBandicoot's cutting guide.. http://www.uk420.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=60378
Thanks for the help.

Ah, a hydro man. My bad, sorry.
Carry on, BB knows his onions. Me, I just whip off a stem, trim, cut and whack it into the compost (but I am a dirt grower wink1.gif )

Not a good idea really - bottled water can contain minerals.
dellsbell
minrals no good then,so whats in your tap water.,,,i allways use bottal water on cuttings,,and have great results,,never use rain water,,,

i give my cuttings an intial watering of 0.5ml canna coco, i used to do 1ml (1/4str) but was a bit strong

mineral water and tap water both contain crap, but ive always used tapwater

your cuttings look good to me, dont worry bout the yellowing, it happens
