Hi all, got a single seed of Super haze from the local shop for £7 yesterday. put it in water today aswell as am quite excited but was wondering if any you have had any long runners or anything unusual like that? Whats the longest flowering pheno has any had to date? I'm good at keeping to my feeds and such and my pH is 6.2-5, growing organically in allmix/light mix. How fussiy is she when it comes to temperature, thats my only problem as i've got a 4"rvk and am skint without any sign of money coming in the near future so im stuck with what ive got im afraid(light is 600w hps with son t agro).
shes a good month an a bit behind the 4 female (seriouss) bubblegums ( ) and about half a week behind 2 (DutchP) white widows an 2 (seriouss) white russian seedlings. Also already soaked my Dutch passion Durban poison aswell and its on a plate on top of g/r.
will be switching to 12/12 on 14th sept (although thinkin about making that tonight because the bugglegums are quite crazy (esp my lovely but lanky pheno) and are already so big ive only got so much headroom left and quickly running out (about 3-4 links on my chain daily!) but I did want those 4 white plants in 1 gal pots and settled in them before 12/12 but like I said more time =less space and have got a few to get on wiith now.

I had a Dutch passion durban pop up at the same time, its dark green with thick leaves and little serration, the super haze has light green leaves with thin long leaflets with much serration... lookin good

I thought Super haze, super silver haze and silver haze were all the same (haze x skunk x nl) but alas im wrong again, super haze is apparently just skunk and haze, I was on a tight schedule to get my tent down before christmas but I guess that just changed, 12weeks is feasible for this strain, apparently the haze shines thru like like nothing else with skunk just influencing height and flowering time and yeild. should be interesting to see how this turns out, havent had any decent sat since living in south africa

I've got a bit of experience with Super Haze and it takes a bit of looking after, grow it badly and you'll end up with a load of crap that smells like hay that's not very strong, but treat it with some TLC and it can have the potential to be quite a potent strain with a racey up high and a fair amount of crystals, it can tend to be a bit bendy ( thin stems large buds) and may need a bit of support , the yields are usually pretty good too.

it can have a tendancy to turn hermie if not treated well even with non feminised seeds so watch out for that.


all in all it's not a bad sativa dominant strain, but it takes a bit of care to get the best out of it.

just wrote up a couple of pages of graphs so I can watch how I feed her. not so much tempted as more forced into it but I feel she must now go to flower at 2days old. yep shes a seedling but fuck it, if I want half a chance of smokin this over crimbo, its gotta be done. Going to put her in a 1l pot when she's ready to transplant, no more as this will lengthen flowering time, or so ive read... very nice little seedling compared to my durban . durbans little red stem and thick leaves, sh's elegant little leaves getting noticeable bigger and more detailed as we speak .

just thought id post a pic to compare. and the durban is approx day and half older (as in its bin above soil line for day and half more than sh.)! theres already more 2nd internode leaves pokin thru on the sh and is beating the dp already.

it's only got a 10 week flowering period, you could leave it another month before going 12/12 and you'd still have it in time for xmas etc.

wouldnt wanna get caught out with a haze pheno but i'll keep it veggin for a week or 2/ however long she'll stay under my cfl(i only have about 15cm space under my cfl atm due to it not being in tent)

its not too bad a smoke, smells a bit like animals on a farm or something with a hint of flowers/perfume and dont forget you mild skunk tones in there too!
