that is c99 but not the female seeds version
cindy as a plant is beautiful
its look is only bettered by it's taste
heard good things about femaleseeds.nl but i've never used them meself
but if it mirrors the original....
you're in for a treat!

if your asking me? im saying joey weed is the best and closest to dr souls c-99 thats were most buy from stateside id go for reefermans f4 copy other wise. but i havnt tried female seed version maybe its great ? certainly cheap. i know very little about this company? had a look at there site and they almost seem to cheap to be true nevils haze at 35quid if true its a steal!
joey almost always has 6-7 femails out of a 10pack 30quid. the beans are huge.
good luck like you said, its a truly great early strain ! red

Hi Pez
Ive got one going at the mo but at only 8 days theres not much to tell.

. I seem to remember hearing that they don't grow very rapid in veg but i have no clue, she is smaller than how big my kalis were at here her age in same environment. the leaves are slim with a nice light green to them so no indy evidence yet but would femaleseeds play with indicas to make they're version of c99?
I can only hope they dont herm

, but i aint heard of the c99 goin herm sofar.
hope this 'elps somewhat,
hempstick.

I started 2 of these in April, one went hermie (my fault light leak) and the other looked like it was dying so I planted it in the garden.Appart from picking out the seeds the hermie is a belting smoke but nowhere near as sativa as i'd hoped.
The one in the garden is now a 5 foot round bush and just starting to flower,I'd like to post a piccie but this wont let me,if anyone can explain what I'm doing wrong I'd be grateful (it says something about global limit or some shite-and its only 3 megapixel)

I had two X-Line C99's in my last grow. I didnt quite like the smell of 'em. Thankfully they were low in odour, so it was really only when i manicured the buds i felt the smell (unless i stuck my nose in the buds). Taste is ok, but could absolutely have been better. On the positive side they yeild very good and the potency is awsome.
I had them in my new setup which wasn't finished... Temp was often too high (around 35 celsius), the PH was too high aswell and 2-3 weeks into flowering the timer broke and they had 36 hrs darkness. Not one male flower on any of them. I'd say they can take a decent amout of abuse and still deliver a top product in the end.
I should add though that the X-line is the only C99 i've grown (and smoked), so i can't really compare it to C99 from other breeders.
I'm thinking of trying Femaleseeds' Grapefruit soon, since it's basically C99 with even bigger yield and better taste (so i've been told). Sounds like a winner to me.

interesting report swt thx.
maybe the bad smell is linked to the awful rooting flesh smell undertones some growers reported from the early c/99 strains but it shouldnt of been all bad though!
and its not a complaint ive heard often? maybe it was the heat?
can i just say all the grapefruit strains ive tried have not been any like c-99 which i like for the haze like speedy high grapefruit is a coach lock strain for me. totally differant.
also for me it never gave the yield that i got from cindy the tops get big for sure but it didnt run as much so over all i found the yeild down. maybe this would been differant doing bigger bushy ones i dont know.
im hoping wally ducks will give me both the lovely inbred pineapple taste that many phonos have plus the amazing high you speak off.

I grew these, although I've not grown other C99s to compare them with. I did two plants, but one of them went hermie; to be fair, though, the timer got knocked and they'd been having an hour's darkness for an unnkown amount of time during veg, so thy probly got a bit stressed. Otherwise I found them a nice easy grow, with a good and very frosty yield, and a very good final product after curing. For me, a heady high that can get me a bit para if I do too much at once. Not too much stretch at all either (I've only got 3ft of flowering headroom, so they had to be trained).

I'am smoking the x-line c99 as we speak.lovely smoke, not harsh, light heady up and when you break the buds open a strong lemony scent.
Was a easy grow too,had thrips and even that didnt stop the plant,i over watered, under watered, nute probs and even so, not a hermie in sight,a good beginners seed if you ask me....worth a try

np. As for the Femaleseeds Grapefruit it's genetics are 75% C99 and 25% some fruity sativa. But i know i read a post somewhere where this guy was ranting about Femaleseeds naming it Grapefruit, since there was already a strain out called that. So it might not be the same Grapefruit we're talking about.
(After checking with google it seems the "original" Grapefruit is a clone only strain from BC.)

Grew some female seeds C99 over the summer. Relatively easy to grow, reasonable yield but one major problem didnt find had much of a high to them. May have been that the temps in grow room were ridiculously high (getting close to the 40c mark) throughout the grow. Would have been cooler growing them in my oven!
Tried female seeds White Widow previously to that and had to pull at 6wks into 12/12 as was going away and that had a reasonably stong stone considering how early I pulled them.
Got some f-seeds Ice on the go at the mo which should be ready just in time for Christmas, and am considering either f-seeds White Widow for my next grow or DP Strawberry Cough.

I agree with Joey Weed from canada, gets my vote . Had soom growing last year and they got so heavy the branchs had to be supported. S moke was yery tasty with a good crisp Buzzzz .One to try! Delivery is always discreet and quick ,seems like a good chap.
