Hi all,

Just thought i'd put some pics up of 1 of my Sugarloaf's

Grown in Terra Pro + soil using the Bio-bizz Grow/Bloom and some Bat Guana.

This pheno is a strechy beast, even keeping up with my Arjen's Haze's which is a big suprise, it would be nearly 6ft had I not bent some of the top buds. Def not a low odor strain but a lovely smell all the same.... quite fruity and pungent

I have a 2nd pheno of this just 2 weeks into 12/12, thankfully doesnt seem even close to being as strechy as the other.

the blurb says:

An F1 Hibrid of extraordinary vigor, large tricomes and dense, resinous buds. The mother, a beautiful indica whose seeds were brought back from Pakistan was crossed wih our favorite Capricho male (Capricho, a backcrossed Manali x Colombian). This indica / sativa combination with its high proportion of calyx to leaves ratio and a potent psychoactive high is also a large producer whose branches need to be tied to avoid breakage. A wonderful, delightful treat that can be grown indoors and outdoors.

nowhere in there does it mention the massive strech tho would of been even worse if I hadnt accidently topped it while pinching late into veg

i'd def say both pheno's I have are mainly sats, certainly growing like sats anyway.

got a feeling I have at least 1 keeper in the pair

I have a SL in veg at the mo,she'll be going 12/12 in a week or two I think. She looks very Indica, big fat leaves, slow grower with red stem (?) - seems this is a starin of some variation. Looking forward to seeing that Sat pheno fatten up

day 44 12/12 and I think the picture explains why she is called Sugrloaf

top buds have been tied down as she streched like mad up until week 5, def the stinkiest lady in the grow room, very sharp and pungent she is

smell seems to be getting stronger and more pungent, this ones gonna have to be dried very carefully

one of the main cola's which has been bent over.

Bulb has been swapped to a Metal Halide for the last few weeks

he's right tho, both people who've grown the sugarloaf out said the yeald was well down on what was expected BUT well worth the wait for the medicinal values IMO

I must agree, she is a stincker mostly from the blend of colombian and manali scents.
Hard to breed them for us indeed. Hope you enjoy them

my first Sugarloaf was chopped at 70days 5 days ago.... this is the stupidly stinky pheno, so smelly i've had to dry in it in boxes in my growroom it's not really a pleasent smell either, has slight fruity/citrus undertones, but mainly very skunky crossed with rotting flesh mmmmm

not ready to smoke yet but test joints of some quick dried air bud have been very encouraging

the plant would of finished at around 7ft had I not bent over the 2 main cola's, buds arnt really very compact but I expect around 3-4oz. The amount of stretch probably rules this pheno out as a keeper but i'll grow her once more at least

got another sweeter smelling pheno at 8wks now, a much shorter and compact plant but still leaning towards the Sativa sides i'd say.

She's deffo worth the effort very noice SB

thanks bud tho I must admit its starting the smell a little more pleasant, very skunky

been sneaking a few smaller buds, buzz is very heady and instant hitting

We must thank you for your report StonedBrittania and hoping you enjoy it as much as a CBG member and main responsible of its breeding does. It increases his appetite and improves his mood a lot. Be sure he needs that!

Also Sugarloaf is been doing very well in sales here in Sp since the beginning and I have been very lucky even to try also some delicious private clones some ppl preserve for own use and like to offer me when we meet while travelling. As I explained before is been very hard to breed to find the correct balance but.. although still some phenotypes may change a little we found out this one was the most interesting generation of them as can give you the chance to select some delicious and pecualiar flavoured individuals.

After initial heady up, can leave behind a warm state of mind and body being so useful for medical uses at least to my partner. Just let them dry and cure properly and flavours will fullfill your taste requirements in your mouth.

im glad ive discovered her best traits, although if anything my 2nd pheno looks like it could be even better. She's a lot less stretchy with more compact dense buds, still stinky as hell but a lot sweeter, reminds me of Cheese very much

I've not put any pics up yet but will try to take some later, she has some traits you may find interesting such as lots of 3 fingered leaves.
