what a wicked site love it hope to get e few answers getting a bit worried just bought a packet of (FEMANISED SEEDS) grapefruit before looking into it properly never used them before just thought i would make things easier on myself (stupid i know) and after reading sonia skunk and dready bob in weed world slate them to death not sure if i should take them all the way anyone done the same mistake got them from female seeds is this a good company

A friend of mines grew them with no problems at all, in fact it turned out excellent. Though i would be careful not to stress the plants if at all possible as this could lead to hermies.

Ive not personally grown feminised seeds but alot on here have with mixed results, some good some bad. Only way to find out is to get growing mate.

Recently done a batch of grapefruit from female seeds, fecked me skunk mother so needs a quick fix and it loked just the job.
On one of the plants it just kept throwing out bollox so just gave it the chop eventually .
The others were okay - 3 diff phenos, i reckon one of them would have went a few weeeks longer than the 8 they quote but ma new clones were ready to go so gave them the chop.

Yield was average - about an oz a plant (12/12 at about 8 inches ) , but given longer may well have produced more.

Okay for a quick fix (9which it was for me) but would always recommend going from clone (personal opinion only guys).

Nice smoke and the leggier pheno does smell like robinsons pink grapefruit juice - the smell ids now becoming stronger and more potent after a few weeks in the jar.


Wouldn't use them again but worth a try.

bit but hey ones not too bad 8 to 9 weeks suits me fine i want to keep mine small hieght a bit of a problem really (well im greedy) about 5 1/2 foot was gonna try and put them in 6inch pots after roots come through peat pots then wait till there about 10 inches then into 6 litre pots always used 10 litre after peat pots before and no trouble but after reading loads on this site that sounds the way to go for small but stocky fat buds was gonna try something different anyway advise well appreciated like the sound of the smell though cheers again

they look quite nice just have to keep my eyes open oh which i will good luck with your little girls

I have no idea WTF "Sonia Skunk" and "dready bob" are but I can tell you they're full of shit I've been stoned 24/7/365 on femaleseeds weed for near to 3 years now. Yes I've had a couple of hermies (easily fixed as long as you aren't too stoned to notice ) but other than that I have had top notch weed with no males for crop after crop. icmag is the place to go if you want to chat direct to the femaleseeds team although I'm not commenting on the moderation policies on that site.

I wouldn't recommend feminised seeds if you're looking to build up some decent seedstock/mothers as they are inherently more unstable than "normal" seedstock. I have (and do) used feminised mothers for clone material. Works fine but after a while I started viewing the space the mother takes up as almost wasted as it couldn't be used for breeding. Odd really as I don't have any intention of breeding anything. Anyway femaleseeds are great for just growing out. No hassle, no cloning/sexing required. Enjoy. I do but I'm moving on to other strains this winter.

My mate grew feminised Grapefruit with no problems, although one of them did do hermie...
nice smoke, not a massive yield though.

I grew out a packet of SOL Adventure Mix a couple of years ago which I believe had grapefruit in its parentage - I could swear one of them reaked of grapefruit for a while in late flowering - though none of them actually tasted of grapefruit.



I've no idea how I made so many posts by the way - I've only been here a couple of months !
