very nice first set up

and proof that reading up before you start will pay off

do you know if its fully light proof? i was told sitting in it with the doors closed and lights off for ten mins is a good way to test it as a light leak when they should be asleep can cause hermis
Good luck with your ice.

High all,
Wow thanks for all the comments guys, it's really has taken me by surprise. This is only my 2nd attempt at growing. So after my very piss poor first attempt, i decided to go back to the drawing board and came up with what you see today. I must admit that i never wanted to spend allot but got kinda carried away with this build. Total cost is about £450.
Buddin Hippy you mentioned light proofing. Well i put allot of thought into this. The Drobe has a roller shutter(step1).Inside are more doors that are screwed closed (no catches or locks) for a tight seal (step 2)
On the actual doors themselves, i stuck that draft proof tape around the edges (step 3)Again on the inner doors i screwed on a inner door frame to lay flush with the outer door framing(step 4) On the inner door framing i sealed with some bathroom sealer to be sure(step 5). For the intake i used an old cereal box, cut to size and shape, painted inner side with blackboard paint and fixed into position
So with all these precautions i can safely say the box is light proof.
As mentioned before about getting carried away with this Drobe i installed a min CCTV cam so i can watch what’s going on without having to disturb them too much. Great idea at the time i though but realised that any basic TV decoder (sky) could pick up the signal, so that was short lived.
This has been a real labour of love for me, as I’m crap at D.I.Y. The only thing that has been keeping me going is the sweet reward at the end. Going to put pic's to try explaining

One more thing. Because the fans were unprotected with fan covers. I cut to size some fine fabric and fixed in place over the fans. This is to stop the fan leafs been chewed up
