Ok, in sept i'm moving into a flat on my own, because of the issues with neighbours and moving soil in and out of the building i was planning on going hydro.

Now what would be the most forgiving and simple hydro system? My current setup is organic soil and i want to stay organic when i switch to hydro, are biobizz nutes ok with hydro systems?

Thanks

Sounds good ot me, i'll read up a lil on them.

Any other suggetsions or infor about organic hydro-nutes?

yes there are.

GHE have brought out a 100% organic nute developed for hydroponic use.

Google BioSevia Grow and Bloom

Soma also uses an American organic nute that is also available over here too.

He uses Pure Blend and Pure Blend Pro in bubblers.

oh and just an add on - it is necessary to add BM (Bioponic Mix) by GHE when using BioSevia in hydro.
You can use BioSevia on its own for soil, but gotta add BM in hydro, and then, so they say, you will have a complete organic hydro feed.

dunno, is the honest answer. Never used it, its new and i aint growing atm.

Why not you just need the microorganisms in the solution to break down the organics so the plant can take them into it's root system. That's what happens in soil. yinyang.gif

Well I think it's time to dust off the card and get some!

I have sent an e-mail asking the question FD.

Thanks for finding that one. guitar.gif

I currently switched to hydro myself after using mud. Just germinated my 5 seeds today!

I am going to use a home-made 2ft x 2ft ebb & flood planter which I just built myself (4 plants in flowering) and using a dripper system for vegging ... Can't wait! yahoo.gif

ohh, many replies, things are looking good for my organic hydro plan. glad a few more people realised organic is viable in hydro too. chemical nutes are nasty, poison for our planet. We use enough chemicals around teh house, we shoudl keep chemicals and plants as far away from each other as possible.

Anyways, thanks for the advice everyone, need to start desigining this once i have a place sorted. will be a fun experiemnt, will be sure to fly the flag for organic hydro growing!

"You will still have to maintain the pH of the nutrient solution in the range of 5.8 to 6.3."

Was the answer I got back.
