Hi I got 11 lowryder seedlings going out and just wondered what everybody thinks best and whats their logic to their answer if you get me. Cant think of any specific parameters that prefer mornin or afternoon to be honest guitar.gif

I would think before sunrise would be the best so that the plant has a chance to get settled in its new location and it can photosynthesise to its full capacity when the sun comes up. Plus, before sunrise not many people will be about, however at this point in the year, sunrise is like 4:00.

I'de do it in the evening, with this harsh sun we have atm it might stress them a tad, better to let it settle in for a few hrs, i.e. overnight...

agreed, and also too add that the moon is in its waxing gibbous phase, its always best to plant under a waxing moon (when the moon is growing) it is proven to be benificial to plants (amongst many other natural things wink.gif )
the moon is very important in gardening but many overlook its benefits doh.gif
i know some great sites about lunar planting cant spam (do your own search) you will be suprised wink.gif
hope this i of use as i know the moon is as good for your plants as the sun is, (only in differing ways)root growth will be encouraged tonight and for a little while yahoo.gif
good luck anyhow yinyang.gif

edit to add, the best time to plant is just as the full moon ends and the new moon begins,(theres NO moon) that way you get the full waxing period. which will encourage root growth but also helps seed germinate faster and plants that are already established grow more vigourously.
plants are sensitive to, and affected by the same force of gravity that pulls the tides of the sea wink.gif (ebb & flow)

try it, you cant fault the planets dude yinyang.gif

hope this one isnt spam (tried to find link that wasnt?)

sorry just one more link for anyone who may be interested, seems this guy swears by it! And it could explain why some of my plants on my guerrilla grow are doing much better than others.

Spot on Merlin, I was given some magic beans about 6 years ago from an old hippy friend , his mate sent them from Southern Ireland to distribute amongst his friends. These seeds had been developed for the damp climate of Southern Ireland(big bud cross with ???) anyway they came with instructions to germ them on the full moon in April of that year and to plant out in May on the new moon, biggest load of cobblers I ever heard whistling.gif never trust a Hippy sprung to mind, but true to my word I did just that and the result was stunning, my first ever plant went from strength to strength and reached just short of 6 foot high and produced about 5oz of bud smoke.gif

I am now a firm believer in this theory, you should try it for yourselves yinyang.gif
