Hi, I'm a noob. I read about the need to flush one's system weekly. What are the basic steps involved. I would greatly appreciate it. Thnx.

P.S. I don't grow; I'm trying to learn as much as possible before I set out in my endeavors.
Thnx.

This refers to a hydroponic setup that is recirculated and not run to waste I think. unsure.gif

The idea is that concentrated nutes that the plant doesnt use build up in the res. Flushing simply starts again with fresh nutes.

Some people use cannazym, h2o2 and other potions to dissolve roots, kill algae and keep the solution clean.

I am a soil grower, not a mad scientist rofl.gif but I'm sure that lots of people will help yer smoke.gif

When folk do flush its with plain water for 24 hrs, then they add a fresh batch of nutes wink1.gif

But my thinking is why starve the plant for 24hrs unsure.gif

Flushing is done during the last week or two of flowering

Yes I know mate wink1.gif But some folk do a 24hr flush once a week cos they think it will wash excess salts out of the medium or roots wink1.gif

Which is a load of bollox by the way as a salt build up is solid and no amount of flushing will rid you of it wink1.gif
