Hello all,

Has anyone had any experience with the above, Do they stretch nuch during flower as some strains double or even triple so i believe. I got 3 ft of space to play with so was wondering if it would be best to tie down now before flowering.
Any advice appreciated thanks

Keep a flourescent light right on top of them from as early after germination as possible to keep them short & stocky and I would be cautious about topping as it can have the opposite effect to that which you desire

I grew these out for a project, in a greenhouse with no supplement lighting, and they got a bit out of hand.

They being kept hungry for a reason

Hi RedDragon, got mine in pots outside, they looking good up til now.
Did you flower them, if so did they increase much. What was the smoke like?
Im inpressed so far considering there nirvana, but heard the smoke nothing special.

I grow Bigbud normally id say she doubles to triples from clone or small plant, your plant is pritty big and done most of her veg so shell get about 50% bigger try to grow her out sideways with netting or LST strings.

There's nowt wrong with Nirvana beans mate. It'll knock anything you can buy off the street, into a cocked hat, and thats all that matters init? No matter what anyone else says and the best part is, most of the knockers have never grown them out!

THIS (NLxBB) was grown as a joint venture between me and a dear friend. The smoke was absolutely fine in a "lay down over there" sort of way - just what the doctor ordered at the end of a long stressful day.

They can go a bit leggy if you're not careful with your lights early on. Once you've lost the short stocky growth pattern its hard to slow them down again. I'll be honest and say at 3 foot already, you're going to have some monsters on your hands come harvest - "...as big as transit vans" springs to mind. But if height isn't an issue the yield and stone (flowering outside?) will surpass all expectations.

I have and i'll say it again if you are buying seeds get quality ones.I cant see the point of spending good money on a set up and then growing inferior beans when another £20 will get you more stable genetics

Not saying that you cant grow some decent plants but Nirvana are very hit and miss

I brought the nirvanas a while ago for the simple reason northen lights for £ 10, thought bargain. Then i started reaing 420s posts (mainly negative) bout nirvana and i thought oh dear, bad move

Thing is up til now i am impressed with them and looking forward to that first taste from my own, had it years ago back in the day as they say, although obviously i got a cross with bigbud.
Might have ago next year with a proper? northern lights.

Like you say alot of people may slate nirvana without growing them Theory in the mind, Practice in the hands and like i said so far so good. I can see where Owderb is coming from tho, but my growroom didnt cost anything so £10 is not much to try, i think if you got the room it wouldnt hurt to try a couple of beans you may be surprised.
