Does anyone know what ec reading to start house/garden A&B hydro when as it says on the back start the ec at 1.2. max of 2 is 1.2 to strong! coz sum manufacttures this means the maxmin but it states it as grow and flower nutrient there isn't a seperate A&B bloom and i never used 1 like this. i hav always use seprate ones.when u swich to bloom should u stay on an ec of1.4 or should i drop it back down

start seedlings off on say 0.8 ec gradually getting higher as the plant matures

maximum ec is i wud say between 1.8 to 2.2 say i never been higher

You should really get a copy of the feeding schedule for H&G. Steve and Humboldt Wholesale is the North American rep and has feeding charts you can download at Ad removed
I use the Aarde nutrient for soil, and for week one of vegetative growth it suggests an EC of 1.2 This is NOT for seedlings or baby clones, but for plants in the begining of a strong vegetative growth. I had mine in 1 gallon pots of soil and they were 6" tall before I started using the feeding chart. Any seedling or baby plant will get scorched and burned to death with high levels of nutes designed for strong plants in vege mode.
