Hey everyone just wondered if anyone has grown ice before? i've just been given two cuttings and can't find any info on it apart from the usual rubbish write ups on seedbank sites

oh yeah and before somone says it i've tried the search

i got ice from female seeds , currently 7 weeks flower so aint smoked yet .. however nice looking plants .. not a great yielder on average but i do have one super plant i call `lucyice` which i am cloning

Hope you`re not cloning from a flowering plant.Sure thats not advised but i could be wrong...Have to look into that one but its something I dont do myself!

cloning from a flowering plant is absoulutly fine!.. done it for many years now , just takes a little longer

I'm growing ice at the moment, just gone into 12/12 although she already showed pistils very early.
Nice compact bushy type plant so far, nice and green. Will post some pics later when she gets a bath

not to pleased to hear its not the best yielder i only grow two at a time cause of limited space so yield is really important to me,

Last grow was white rhino which i've been told is similiar yield and i pulled seven oz when fully dried, not bad for my first grow--in a wardrobe--with only a 250w

i was wondering what the stretch is like when they go 12/12? i'd like them to finsh around 4ft to maximise yield so dont want um going 12/12 too early and finishing short, in my eyes big plant = big yield

on that question i can say that i went into flowering when the tallest plant was 40cm ,, tallest plant end of flowering was 85cm so not really bad , however the shorter pheno only got to about 65cm

a little off topic, but got a v.similar set-up 2 u: 250W HPS in wardrobe - hydro max 2 plants/cycle....How do you keep your humidity above 50%, can't keep mine above 32%?
PS really wanna grow some ICE - reckon it'll be great with the old Bubblebags!!

dont stretch to much in flower stays bushy,6/10 smoke for me

hi frantic just to let you know, my last grow the humidity NEVER went above 10% yes 10%, it had absoloutly no affect on the plants as far as i could see anyway!

If you want to get humidity up you can hang a wet towel in there but it can be a pain cause you have to wet it every day besides i wouldn't want it that high when there in flower anyway, its just askin for budrot which is

like i said i still pulled 7oz last time which is 0.8 gram per watt, not bad if i do say so myself

Nicedreams, i dont know where the seeds were from originally, these are clones from a friend

Hopefully yield will be better from clones, think i'll give um a bit longer to veg so i can grow me some trees

At present have a single ice plant in veg and has just hit 40ins tall/1meter. should be going to put to flower soon ,just sorting out the flowering room and should be finished this weekend.
6 different plant types on the go and using 2x 400w hps.

I grew a clone of Ice out a while ago.
It doubled in height during 12/12, and was really quite a hefty yielder. Unfortuantely I hated the taste and was unimpressed by the hit. Not my cup of tea.
But its always a personal taste thing in the end.
