Im looking for a decent yeilder/smoke of 6/7 weeks flower. Any ideas please??

hash plant, but you would need a week or two of 8/16 to finish them and the yield wouldn't be that great
I have finished some indicas by week 7 because I had to, and the week or so of 8 hours light will help things along.
these would be perfectly smokeable, but I stress that they are NOT the finished product. You won't get a finished product in that time.
learn patience.....the bestest weed takes over 3 months to flower from start of 12/12
how great is a 6 weeker gonna be?

Thanks for the fast reply CM. I saw the super skunk from sensi is a prettyfast finisher, in around 45-55 days. Will this be any good on yeild in such a short period?

I don't believe the packet blurbs on finishing times. In fact now I just harvest when my eyes tell me, but generally allow a week or so on top of the stated finish times
like I said there are ways of making it smokeable in that timeframe, but waiting another 2/3 weeks is the way to go IMO
look for top44 on the boards, supposedly done in 6 weeks, but some report it not being finished in 8+ weeks.
growing canna improves your patience. if you can't wait then there's always lowryder. seed to cut in 8 wks or so

I did used to grow my own a few years ago and Im a bit rusty now, and now Ive got the space again to grow, I want some good smoke NOW. Anyway. Ive been looking at the powerplant from DP, as I want the choice of being able to grow in/outdoors, and Im 99% sure Im gonna pick some of their beanz up today, and feminized too if the head shop has them in stock. Ill let you know how I get on. Thanks for your help. OG

Powerplant takes forever to finish. 70 days + and has very different growth pattern to indicas.

The patience thing isn't just so you get a nicer looking plant - it's essential. Otherwise I can see your post in a few months that x plant is a shit yielder and rubbish stone. Have read too many posts from dissapointed ppl who just don't get it.

If you're going to do it - do it right. INVEST that time.

I know someone just recwently harvested some Chronic, apparently it was ready bang on 42 days. Pretty good I thought as I know of others that have done chronic right throught to 9/10 weeks. It's all down to the phenotype m8

I was also gonna suggest Top 44, but there are loads of seed banks out there doing it now and tbh I've yet to hear of a top 44 plant done in 44 days

I've some Mangolian Indica 43 days in and she looks as tho she is gonna be ready for the chop next week

The way I see it, the lesser the flower time the more the veg time, so it prolly balances itself out anyways e.g. I grew a nlxhaze once, rooted clone straight into flower would prolly take it to 4-5 ft with no veg time but 10 weeks flower however something like Mangolian Indica would take 2-3 weeks veg and 7 odds for flower. So you see, it balances itself out anyways....in my eyes that is

Ive just got back with my STANDARD pp beanz, b/c they had no fem. Thanks for the input b8man, but im not sure you understood me right - I was looking for a fast finisher because anything I can grow myself would be better than the shit that doing the rounds here at the min. Just wanted to re-live the homegrown again. Anyway - ive put my cash into PP, and I am gonna have to be patient. Once I have got a harvest for myself, the patience will be there then. Ill let you know how I get on.

How is PP in the greenhouse? What sorta weight do you think ill get from the beanz planted today and grown in the g/house?

Is that 13 hours dark or 13 hours of light?

I ussually go 11 1/2 hours light as it takes a while for light to warm down..
Therefore if i cut lights at 12 itr would be more than 12 hours light...

Seem to finish earlier with 11 1/2 too.

My last grow was Chronic it took 6 an a 1/2 weeks to flower , i did get them from cutting but the bloke is very reliable when it comes to strains (i mean he knows wots wot) i got about an oz a plant and they was only vegged till they was rooted.
