Hi guys, I seem to have my grow area pretty much sorted now. Thanks for all the previous help, it's been invaluable.

I am now in the process of staring really hard at the electrical panel, urging it to sort itself out (shouldn't have watched Carrie last night). It doesn't seem to be working, much the same using the Force did on my growrobe, so I guess I'm gonna ask some questions and get my hands dirty. I got my equipment from an ex-grower and the electrical stuff was all screwed to a board.

1. How do I connect a thermostat to my fan (if that's something I should be doing)

2. I've sort of worked out the power thing, but the power breaker is connected to a double socket with no external wiring to the mains, whys that then? There was an extra cable and an extra double socket that went on the panel, but my electrical knowledge is seriously limited so I'm panicking a bit.

3. Where does the cat go?

I'm sure there's quite a few more questions I'll need to ask but I'm gone a bit blank at the mo.

righto,unplug both timers from 4 gang contactor output.

Contactor timer plug (black lead) is plugged into 13a supply(not the 4 gang)along with a timer.

Plug ballast into 4 gang supply.

Plug ballast output into sodium lamp fitting.

Ensure bulb is screwed in properly.(make sure you wipe the bulb thoroughly if you've handled it without gloves)

Try circuit by pushing override switch on timer.That should fire it up ok.Maybe sort that and then move onto timer ventilation if not running fans 24/7.

Yeah, it's a big ass contactor. I'm only running a 250W HPS It matches the big WHHHOOOOSSSHHHYYY RVK.

HOPE U DONT MIND ME JUMPIN IN. ALL THIS WIRIN AN ELECTRICAL IS GIVIN ME A SORE HEAD, IVE JUS BOUGHT A SUNBEAM TEMP/FAN CONTROLLER(SEE BELOW). BUT IT ONLY TURNS FAN ON WHEN THE TEMP HITS A CERTAIN LEVEL,ALSO I DONT KNO AT WHAT SPEED. BUT I NEED THE FAN ON CONSTANT FOR MY CARBON FILTER 2 WORK. I ALREADY HAV A FAN SPEED CONTROLLER SET AT LOW SPEED 2 KEEP NOISE DOWN AN WOZ WONDERIN IF I CLD USE BOTH TOGETHER, ANY IDEAS?
