just to say i have a sk#1 growing at the moment i got from seedsman a few months back.the first packet i got none germed,right on the fone told seedsman the script and he promptly sent another packet of which 2 germed pure shit if u ask me.anyway that one female i got is a beezer so alls not lost i soppose.the other thing is the reason i went for the seedsman in the first place is where he says he gets his stock from,i had raed up on old posts were i think quoegi challenged him about it and got no were.i know this is old ground but as im new here i thought id throw my 2 bobs worth in.these are just a couple of thoughts that have puzzeled me,if sam the skunkman does not supply seedsman why doesnt sam chin the seedsman for more or less trading on his name.and sam has said that he does not make seeds for sale anymore so maybe the seeds are from deep chilled stock thus the shit germination but the ones that do germ are great....i am in no way shape or form sticking up for seedsman,he caught the sharp side of my tonge on the fone about the germ rates and i think he could have been way far more honest as to where his stock actually comes from.anybody has any thoughts then fire away....cheers jaffa

How do you germinate your seeds and do you always get high germination rates when using other seedbanks beans?

yes mate all other stock ive had,had good germ rate and i germ in paper towel damp in plastic bag same as always

Personally I would not want to make a judgement on seed viability in a strain unless I'd grown out around a thousand or so plants. One or two 10 or 15 packs is diddly squat in terms of a Cannabis seeds. But it is indeed disheartening when they fail.

I have as well experienced very low germianation rate with sam the skunkman seeds. All other seeds germ nicely tho.

they werent from sam the skunk man they were from seedsman.the reason i mentioned sam is seedsman says thats were he sorces them from

I guess they come from him in bulk - only the package changes. My two euro cents.

i'v also had problems with seedsman seeds, this year i brought 4packs of seeds 2 of them were hashplant and northern lights from seedsman. None of the northern lights germinated but 8 of the hashplant did. I'v never grown hashplant before but i'v read its a typical indica looking plant (short,fat dark leaves) but mine look like typical sativas (lanky,thin light green leaves). I know there's nothing wrong with the way i germinate them cos the other 2 packs (earlydurban from flying dutchman and rox from paridise) all germinated. I'v never had problems with seedsman seeds brought in person from a shop before and these were the first seeds i'v got on the internet and was wondering if they were tampered with. Any1 else had the same prob ???

I too got sk#1 from seedsman. 2 germinated out of 10. One died. One's living but I do not know if it is M/F yet. She's (i'm hoping) about 3 weeks old from seed and about 5 inch tall. Got her in with a clone of an unknown strain a friend gave me in my little chusty box! ;-)

I don't think I'll order rom seedsman again.
