I would like to know if some of you know more about the difference ...

I personnally know the "WhiteRhino" strain from GreenHouse CoffeeShops from about 4-5 years ago .....

and now .... I just got the NirvanaSeeds catalog .... and find out that they have the WhiteRhino seeds....

so first I tought ... "oh ... maybe greenhouse just did sell the weed... and Nirvana is the Bank which produce this strain ... but to be sure about that ... I went on GreenHouse website ...... and find out that they have the WhiteRhino a sell toooo !!!!!

EVEN THE GENETICS ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENTS :
GreenHouse says : Afghan x Brazilian x South Indian
Nirvana says : White Widow x "strong Canadian strain"

so which one is the ORIGINAL ? GreenHouse or Nirvana ?

are they quite similar ?? (if i read genetics ... i doubt )

im pretty sure you will find there totally different, My GH rhinois a short stocky number with med stretch good stone and fast 8 weeks.

the Nirvana is stretchy took 12weeks didnt look any thing like GH, way fluffy and stone wasnt great at 12weeks could have gone longer. Shes tall

But im interested to see how your grows go as i only flowered on pack od nirvana the other is bieng kept for a outdoor grow later this year.

so how comes that there is a SO BIG Difference ?!?!?! ....... 1 month MORE !!!! ???

So a White Rhino isn't supposed to be a White Rhino ?? (which ever seedbank you buy it from !!!)

If you want the original, don't get any of those. The original White Rhino is now called Medicine Man from Mr Nice. This is the bud you got at Greenhouse 5 years ago.

The first plant i ever grew was a medicine man crossed with a really nice afghani..

It grew really well and it still rates as a top 3 strain out of all ive grown..
The guy who made the cross called it romper stomper,
but a friend or two would smoke it and want to party on..Haha..

my Nirvana WR is nothng like this, it's a short stocky 8-9 week strain.

I always thought GH and Nirvana White Rhino was the same

The greenhouse one is advertised as an indian x brazilian x aghani im pretty sure.

Where as nirvanas are/were F?"s of a white widow x afghani. Not sure where they say now that its
a south canadian hybrid, but they used to say it was like above^.

As you probably know a white widow is a brazilian x indian...
So basically greenhouse are telling you the original genetics.

The rhino im growing is a clone from a Green house seed Im told dont know how long ago but ive had since 2000.

Nirvanas WR also grown a while ago looked to have more Sativa in the mix the shortest Pheno was stretchier than the clone. Finnishing from 9 to 11 weeks but some could have gone longer.

Both Rhinos where good but went with the clone as the keeper.



StonedBrittania hi mate, the nirvana grow was from only one of two Packs grown to compare to the clone already growing, Im unsure on the parentage as well here i live its not safe to buy seed so most strains are in clone form. Maby im doing something wrong but my seed grown plants have always taken 10+ weeks where as some clones are ready after 7 weeks.


I didnt get many pics of Nirvanas rhino , these are from early in flower and one of a small dried bud.

The rhino clone is the 3rd pic at this stage its hard to pick the differance.

how does the medicine man fare in a SOG? any details welcome.

i can only grow my plants to 2 feet due to height restrictions( under 2 600w hps)

they are....shanbanti(?) used to breed exclusively for nirvana, then greenhouse, now he's set up with howard marks
