splashed out on a bottle of the good stuff but also some H&B capsules (before someone told me theyre not all that)

Anyway Ive just been having the capsules and already I think I feel them helping with my digestion, my belly grumbled and growled at me, the bloating has gone down and my tummy is almost flat again. Currently at the best part of the hormone cycle so will have to give it a month and see how it works against the full onslaught - at which point I intend to start on the serious stuff.

more interestingly, mr daisy started taking two teaspoons of the hemp oil, and for the last 4 night he hasnt got up for a wee in the night. This is quite remarkable as he has always had to get up at least once and often more. He says he thinks stuff is moving through better and therefore not pressing on his bladder in the night waking him up..

I have to cut down a bit now cos its gone a bit mental in my belly and I might get stuck in the bathroom if Im not careful!!

I have one BIo Hemp oil too, Tasty, but haven't investigated the effects any further, since it could be multiple parameters by now interacting. Oil, lactose, MJ...

Im thinking I might be able to reduce the magnesium/calcium/zinc supplements if I switch to hemp oil, but I see the white flecks coming back under my nails - I think that used to be rumoured as calcium, then that theory was scotched and the last I heard it was zinc deficiency.

However I heard that people with chronic tense muscles and hypermobility use up alot of magnesium, so might have to keep on that and reduce the hemp - try and find a balance of the two

mr daisy is over the moon, his face is less dry (apart from one day of cheese which made it erupt) and he has a healthy sheen, but cannot get over the uncanny coincidence of not getting up iin the night.

Next I have to dose up the cat, stop him getting up in the wee hours and trying to drag me outta bed at 3am!!

will keep you posted of anything else that happens. £6.99 was tough squeezing the money out of the weekly shop but well worth it so far.

Great stuff Daisy, will be following this with interest... some days my back is too tense to do much at all! The cost of hemp oil has been putting me off so far, but I may have to reassess this thanks to your report!

I hadn't heard that about Magnesium before.... best start adding 2 teaspoons of Epsom Salts to my coffee -
Wonder if it's effective 34 years into flower?!?!??

you know when youve had too much magnesium when you go to the loo alot!!

I started taking it also because of the combined effect also of magnesium and calcium (as I understand it) that they helps to make smooth muscle movement. (magnesium also softens the stool when you havent had a poop for a few days)

Ive found Im not breathing properly when Im sitting up. I found that when I lay on my side my back muscles relax and my digestion starts working again, also sometimes I lay on my front and the back relaxes and stuff happens too - have to do a little spin cycle turning over. But sitting up for me is just f**kin hard work.. My belly goes out when I breathe in but then it doesnt go in when I breathe out - I think this is linked to my torso muscles having become very weak from the fibro. When I started the cannabis again I kept feeling these muscles suddenly letting go and relaxing - but they have yet to get into the habit of doing it on their own. At least now when I think about it I can make them do it and try and retrain them

Im thinking half the goodness of the capsules from BB may also be due to the fact they are in hemp oil. The THC/CBD and so on does a good kick of the muscles to let them relax, reduce the pain and so on but the hemp oil does something else as well so both together is a head on attack from all over.

give it four weeks and see how it fairs against the full hormone cycle.

Great stuff isn't it Daisy?
Hopefully prices will start to tumble soon, because its gtting very popular. As it happens, there is a hemp farm that produces its own oil a few miles from me here, so I may give them a visit to see what the caper is and if I can get some at source.

cool, hope we get to see more hemp farms popping up all over, must be a few farmers out there with an eye on the industry..

when I get some more cash Im going to splash out on a bottle for mum, she is back in hospital again, low blood pressure, lesion in her throat removed yesterday.. reckon a teapsoon of that stuff a day will help get her back to rights.

UPDATE
think I might have been through a whole month now with the hemp oil. Had to ease off at first as it was getting a bit keen, but then as my hormones started building up again and my digestion was slowing down it really came into its own. Was nowhere near as bloated, my tummy did stick out a bit for a week - but it wasnt as tight as before, and the internal muscles are definitely trying to do stuff.
As the hormones passed and things got back to normal, the hemp oil seems to be keeping things close to regular, but I can feel the problem with my back is making it hard - sitting up seems to put a halt on proper breathing and digestions, then a lay down and the back muscles relax and things get moving again.

again its all miles better than without the hemp, and this is all without any cannabis either. I lie, I took one capsule when it was at its worst - just a helping hand.

And just cos Im a bit stool obssessed - I did a floater, and a big un at that.. didnt feel like it was gonna be.

oh yeah, cos my bellys working better I started getting growly hungry belly, REALLLY hungry.

Ive been on a teaspoon a day on average (cos Im likkle I always have less than the recommended dose) along with a hemp seed oil capsule with dinner.
mr daisy who fears nothing has had a couple of teaspoons and the odd hemp seed oil capsule too. After a month we have used barely anything. So well worth the money (but can be hard to find that money out of the weekly budget I guess)

From the first couple of days mr daisy took it he has slept through the night. This is astonishing, for a whole month. Not one night has he worken up for a night time wee. For years he has got up at least once - and often more. This is the most impressive thing for the hemp oil, it started working fast for him and has been indisputable. Totally. Utterly. Not one early morning wee wee for mr daisy..

Bought some last week, tried twice so far. I think I may need a small dose as with the two teaspoons I can't stray too far from the loo for a couple of hours the following morning.

i've used it to sort out my old cats eczema and she is revitalised with a full shiny coat. i was so impressed i tried it on my hair. it was due for washing anyway and a little hemp went a long way. felt and smelt good for a couple of hours then i washed it off but instead of the 2 washes and conditioner i just gave it one wash and rinse. my hair stayed softer and shiny until the next wash instead of sticking up all over the place when it gets dirty and with the one wash method again it was still in wonderful condition.
it's also great anywhere you'd use olive oil and you can fry with it if you keep the temperature low. i've got an oil drizzler with hemp oil and a few buds in it - goes very well on salad.

you should google "good oil" and read the story of henry braham. he's in the film buiness but he has a farm in Tawstock, north devon under 750 acres of hemp. the guardian article is a good one.

Love the taste, only a pity it doesn't like heat or I'd be wocking with it. Same price for 'Good Oil' btw, Sainsburys, Marks, & leading health food shops, and they make Good Seed hemp snack bars too. wink1.gif The price should come down when it becomes popular again.
