Mrs sibs was out having a mooch about the garden whilst i was chillin in front of the comp playing need for speed most wanted, i just glance up by chance and spot mrs sibs heading my way with a sly grin on her face.
So knowing she knows something i'd like to know i'm up and out the back door as fast as a crippled thing in a crippled thng contest... whooooooooooosh and there before me are these..

[attachmentid=76865] and from a different angle [attachmentid=76866]

Got no idea how these happened to be in my garden and i have no idea what they are but dont they look peeeeeeeeeeerdeeeeyyy [attachmentid=76867] whistling.gif

Now should i immediately and without delay destroy it with a flamethrower or some other such device or shall i leave alone oh what to do.

liberty caps come out around early september, as soon as it starts to get damp. i missed last september[forgot!] was gutted! and the year before, they didnt dry properly and went all mouldy.

Hi Sib.
Might be mushrooms but they certainly not magic - not at this time of year.
Best ever - in Devon on the Tors - 4 of us did 2000 in a teapot - looking back I can come to terms with it but at the time thought I'd killed them - mega scary !!!!
Don't do it.

Yeah, wrong time of the year for psylocybin shrooms.

As for that other big green thing, I think it's a gunnera (not sure how it's spelt), not a weed, needs a good damp spot and they grow massive.
