Just wanted to post this in the hope it will help other growers.
Ok about 12 months ago a huge mite infestation happened in my garden 8 babies in veg and 8 babies in bloom tryed sprays witch i dislike using nasty chemicals with no luck so a quick look on the net and found a mob that sell preditor mites. I purchased a 2000 pack cost me $100 including postage the instructions stated 1 soyabean leaf per 10 rose plants so i put 6 leafs per plant (over kill) I also put a heap in the garden outdoors on the grass everywere within 6 days you could sit and watch the little buggers chasing the spidermites and sucking the crap out of them by day 14 all mites were gone and the preditor mites died out.
Now what i do is run an ozone genie in the room 15 mins every 2 hrs this kills the mite eggs if any appear not the mites just the eggs after a few days all mite will die out and no eggs will hatch also helps with the smell
the first and only time ive had mites in 6 or so years of growing bloody things im sure a mate introduced them into my room
