So im looking for a suitable outdoor satdom for UK, preferably with very low cbd/cbn (wotever mongs ya) and a good kick. When I went to a local growshop last year this guy took me out the back for a smoke and he was blazin up some tasty weed, he said it was powerplant (spiked with some polm or sumt but weed was the flavour best tasted). Wondering because its derived from S.african sativa it will mybe tolerate outdoor UK climate or im thinkin shit, but think ive heard of south african sats being used to speed up finishin times, Bah Durban! need I say more. Also the Sat influnce takess away most of the mold risk? is this right? if so I could be onto something good, coupled with long sativabuds! Wot u reckong?

I reckon Power Plant would be worth a shot outside in the UK, I wanna grow this variety again myself sometime, I liked the buzz - nice floaty feeling . I've only ever grown PP indoors and I forget what the flowering time is now but if it's under 10 weeks then I think it stands a fair chance outside .

Last year I had a skunk #11 outside until the 1st week of december and it didn't show even the slightest signs of mold and was obviously very frost resistant, it was however a crap smoke and piss poor yield though. I think the more open bud structure helps to make sativa varieties more resistant to mold but if they take too long to flower then cold temps later in the year prevent them from finnishing properly.

You might want to check out Leda Uno from KC Brains

It has a citrus smell, very up energetic and buzzy high

was bred with outdoors in mind (though also does very well under lights)

Have heard very good things about it - easy grow, safe enough smell; very, very hardy resilient plants

I think the ancestry is Brazilian and Thai, plus a bunch of other stuff too no doubt

I had a few DP Powerplants outside a couple years ago but it was a shit summer with horizontal rain and the buds just kinda dissolved.

At the time I remember saying, that for up here anyway, powerplant is probably only good for in a gr/house but with decent weather, unlike that atrocious summer, it should do ok outdoors in the uk thumbsup.gif

Dutch passion have the flowering time down as 8wks with an outdoor finnishing date of 2nd week of October, if we get a decent summer you should be fine with these I'd think.

I grew out PP for me last grow indoors, took 10 weeks to finnish tho...
The Other Chap
Definitely worth a go.
I've just finished a PP grow and I had one pheno that grew huge colas & was finished in 5 weeks. Potency of that one wasn't great though, so I didn't bother keeping clones.

The others finished in 7-9 weeks and were noticably more potent.

Now I would like to see a plant that grew huge cola's in 5 weeks wink1.gif

Power plant which I have grown on numerous occasions needs a minimum of 9 and as much as 11 weeks and can grow huge(height) wink1.gif
