Greetings all,

As a brand new member of UK420, I'm pleased to introduce myself -- this being my first post.

I'm in Scotland, and I'm about to begin my third grow (second proper one with A'dam seeds in my nifty little 250HPS growbox -- I shouldn't really count my first attempt as it was with bag seeds under flourescent tubes).

My previous grow was based on knowledged gleaned on Overgrow.com which I understand has recently bitten the dust. I used Dutch Passion femmed Oasis at that time (2002) and I'm hoping to use a few spare seeds from that pack for this new grow, but they're a bit slow in germinating.

Anybody know the shelf life of these seeds?

If they don't germ, I might try DP femmed Mazar as I hear it's also a low odour variety. Anybody have any opinion on this variety? It's new to me.

Anyway, I'll probably relocate these questions on some higher profile forums on UK420, as I imagine only other new members will read this!

Perhaps I should've mentioned (as if anyone's interested!) that I've been a weekend toker for some 35 years now. My first joint was New Year's Eve, 1971, when I was a pup of 12. How time flies when you're buzzed!

Another question - I'm trying to post an avatar jpg but it says I'm limited to 20k. Can that be right? My picture looks like a splodge at 50k. Any advice?

They may well do, being over 4 years old, but coming from Dutch Passion, I reckon they should show (using the paper towel method) within 72 hours

Yep!!! That's right, a 20kb limit. Mind you, you could always use one of those Photoshop thingys to reduce it. Then again, now that you're growing, you didn't want a of yourself as your avvy did yer

Mazar from dutch passion in a word or two.....fooking honks! But what a fine smoke she is,been growing it for 9 months now and currently growing out the last of the clones,what ever you decide aw the best with your hobby and may your crops be bumpers.

Is that right? Mazar is a stinky thing to grow? Uh oh. I had read somewhere that as it was a NL5 cross is was less smelly to grow than many others (say, like Blueberry).

I guess I'lll need to do some more research. Tried emailing Dutch Passion but no reply.
