Tikal is a sativa hybrid with new central american genetics, originating from the jungles of Guatemala. It is a high yielding and vigorous sativa which is easy to cultivate.

She finishes outdoors with well developed branches, full of sweet flowers of strawberry aroma. <br>
Structure: Sativa ramified and equilibrated in size

Bouquet: Sweet as a strawberry chewing gum in the flowering. With woody, hazy and sour details when smoking her.

Potency: Warm experience of body and mind, without agitation or anxiety.
Flowering time: 10 weeks. 1st half of October.
Production/m2: Medium-High
Grow type:Indoors/Outdooors

Been to Tikal on my travels. Amazing constructions and technology which were way ahead of their time. I figure the ancient Mayan cultures thriving in the jungles for so long must have been selectively breeding recreational canna for a while - wouldn't be surprised if there were some real finds waiting to come from Central America.

I remember the Guatemalan bush weed. Really speedy, quite leafy. Never had the product grown and cared for properly, but the bush you get for about 20USD an Oz certainly helps you get through a hot day of travel. Doesn't help you sleep though (damn fireworks/guns!).

Looking forward to smoke reports.

Is the Guatamala the male plant or female? What are its parentage?

Good day bluntman! smile.gif

Sorry for not add the parentage.

Tikal was produced using a Kush/Haze female and a pure guatemala male. Despite the 3 different lines used in the hybrid, Tikal is quite uniform in structure, flowering time and aromas.

Our pure guatemala sativa is quite fast flowering for a pure sativa, and more considering the latitude of origin.

We are doing at the moment a big Tikal selection for the next breeding steps. The different lines we are openning are:

Tikal female x Guatemala male

Guatemala female x Tikal male

Tikal female X Tikal male.

The line that shows better results will be offered in future catalogues.

Thanx for your interest!

Me too B8man, and that Guatemalan Madman (as we used to call it) was certainly something else. Especially when sat on top of Temple 3 at Tikal, looking over the forests, the exact same view that started the final scene from Star Wars (where the final X wings are returning to base, right before the medal giving ceremony). Me and me mate spent half the day humming the Imperial March while climbing those crazy temples, speedy weedy is not the wordy! The stuff made you feel like Superman.

BTW. Didya stay in Flores? If you did, did you go to the bar that had the big parrots in it? One of them had a penchant for talking, and his favourite expression was "STICKY GREEN BUD AAARRRRGGHH"

Mmm those Guatamalan backcrosses sound so sweet. I absolutely love the work ACE does, and what they stand for. If I did have one request though it would be that you release some Pure strains in their pure form. Jamacian Haze, Purple Pakistani etc. A buddy of mine was gifted the Chinese in pure from. I'm working on a project right now with a few buddies and we plan to run your entire catalog. Keep up the outstanding work.

Just got some of these seeds today and they look very very nice, nice sealed pack and nice and tan with some very nice tiger stripes, can't wait to have them grow out, can I expect any pheno types with these plants, IE. more Guatemalan or more kush haze or in the middle? Thank you very much for your help,
Sincerely,
Limeygreen

Bluntman, thanx a lot for your words. Posts like yours is what truely motivates us to keep working!

Im glad to hear you are working with a chinese! Is it related to our Chinese Yunnan ? We are working hardly again with the chinese this season so expect news from us. wink1.gif

We are thinking in distribute a Limited Edition of pure strans in the future!

limeygreen, thank you very much for trust in our genetics. Im glad you liked the package and seeds. This Tikal seeds were matured outdoors with intense sun. The seeds matured in this conditions have great appearance, size and germination rate as you can see guitar.gif

You can expect a main phenotype with some little variations in the leaf form ( some Tikal plants are little more robust with more indica dominant leaf pattern and other a little more sativa with thinner serrated leaf) at the first stages but they all become beautiful similar sativa dominant plants after some weeks.

The vigour, size, branch pattern, flowering time, aromas and kind of high are similar for all Tikal plants.
Some smell a little more sweeter with woody details ( more Guatemala related ) and others have the incensed/sour part more pronounced but there's a commoun personality in all the plants.

Please, keep us updated! Enjoy the grow! yinyang.gif
