wink1.gif wink1.gif Help PLEASE 1st time grower plant 70in tall and been flowering for 11.5 weeks. smoke.gif

Buds look healthy lots of brown stigmas forming, but also loads of fresh white stigmas coming through. How long do these white ones keep growing for, when do we harvest.? whistling.gif

Taken a bud in week 11 of flowering and it smells and tastes very bitter/citrus. pinch.gif

Will running on plain ph adjusted water ( no nutrients) for a week before harvest get rid of this ????? 34.gif

Hardly surprising if it was dryed in 0.5 of a week wink.gif

Oh yeah, any more info - strain, set up etc Get a magnifier in on the trichs. Pistils (stigmas) are not a great guide.

bud takes 3 to 4 weeks to dry.
the bud you are growing might very well taste damn good.

in case of unknown bagseed, and considering it has been flowering 11.5 weeks...do this >

stop ferting .. just plain water will do.
reset timer to 10 /14 , instead of 12/12

last 3 days just switch off light altogether.

to make your weed cure properly >
hang a line
cut off whole plant
hang upside down.
turn on oscillating fan ( dont aim fan directly at plant)

do not touch while drying
preferably do not remove a sinle leaf or bud , any harm don e to the plant aside from cutting off main stem at harvest is unnessacery stress..which will result in lesser taste
cuz you got a sativa-ish plant i reckon 3 weeks is enough drying time

pure indicas take 4 weeks

Have a read at this mate wink1.gif

One thing I wouldnt do is to leave your bud for 3 days without light if your ventilation cant keep the humidity down to 40%.Plus your temps want to be kept around 65degrees sad.gif

Couple doing that and hanging a full plant up with all its leaves on is in my mind asking for trouble with budrot wink1.gif
