We have made some changes in the new 2006 catalogue.
The old Bangui is now called Congo, to avoid confussions with Bangui Haze, our other congolese hybrid.
Renatta and Timanfaya are out of stock this year. Maybe Renatta will be re stocked next year but nothing sure by the moment.
Guerrilla is in stock.
We have introduced a new guatemala hybrid called Tikal. Here's the description :
TIKAL
Tikal is a sativa hybrid with new central american genetics, originating from the jungles of Guatemala. It is a high yielding and vigorous sativa which is easy to cultivate.
She finishes outdoors with well developed branches, full of sweet flowers of strawberry aroma.
Structure: Sativa ramified and equilibrated in size
Bouquet: Sweet as a strawberry chewing gum in the flowering. With woody, hazy and sour details when smoking her.
Potency: Warm experience of body and mind, without agitation or anxiety.
Flowering time: 10 weeks. 1st half of October.
Production/m2: Medium-High
Grow type:Indoors/Outdooors

Speaking of African genetics, I have been drooling over a hybrid that Dubi mentioned several years ago over at OG, it was a Malawi x Ethiopian that he had grown out. Do you have any plans for this or any other african lines?

I remember you from the very first days of OG and CW many years ago Good to see old friends!
We are working with different new africans at the moment.
We are working with an incredible malawi mother. She has the biggest trichomes we have seen in a pure sativa. The potency is also outstanding. Only for very heavy smokers.
Different malawi crosses are on the way like malawi X ( Cape Verde/Mali) and Malawi X ( Malawi/Uzbeki), the second one being a backcross to the powerful malawi mother. They are still in developing process.
When we believe they express the best traits and true potential of the parents, then they will be in future catalogues.
The ethiopian/malawi line it's a quite inbred sativa line. It grows very small and compact, with the appearance and aromas of the compact ethiopian pheno. It's very fast flowering and sensitive to light changes. We harvested the cross 2 years ago at mid/late september. Some plants were truely powerful and resinous. The line has been discontinued for the past 2 years but a new reproduction it's on the way this season.
Also Angola Liamba sativa has been reproduced past year. It's a very worked sativa from the 70s, before the angolese civil war. It has a very powerful energetic/anphetaminic kind of high, very unique. The taste and aroma are delicious, sweet, floral, with orange and carrot details. We expect to work deeply with her in the next years, as she has lot of qualities and breeding potential.

The Malawi/Uzbeki hybrid combines the most powerful sativa and indica we know. Both parents have an overpowering and medicinal kind of high. The hybrid it's being bred for potency and trichome production, but we are still working to reduce the final flowering time and add thicker stems to the hybrid.
Cape Verde/Mali is an inbred sativa line. Very aromatic, powerful, resinous and good yielding.
The Malawi X (Cape Verde/Mali) hybrid produces very vigorous sativa plants of medium size that can be grown indoors, flowering in about 12 weeks from seed. The hybrid is producing some of the best sativa smokes of the year: very powerful, clean and funny experience that produces easy laugh. We are still working to offer the best phenos from the hybrid in future catalogues.
Angolese projects are in earlier steps. We have spent the past 2 years to reproduce her and learn from her in pure form. Outcrosses are on the way but we dont believe to have results before 1 year or 2.
