Hi, didn't know if i should post i here or in the "Hydro Systems" so took my chances.
My friend just got a Flo Gro 500, ebb and flood system with Cogr Slabs as medium to grow in.
I heard people that would leave the water pump running 24/7 but the manual with the system says that 15 min every 2-3 hours is all you should use it.

So should he leave it on for maximum oxygen and root growth or will it just become to much water in the slabs and drown the plant? Any help on this is very appreciated!

im sure someone who knows what there talking about will be along in a min but i think the instructions sound about right, thats the point of ebb and flood, it ebbs and then floods!

its not a flood as such as water is being fed through a ring around the plant
if i was u il stick to what it says for now.. maybe later on in flowering u could try running it longer

As ususal the people are wrong, follow the manual, the 500 works better with clay pebbles in my book
