Hello Peeps,

Looking for a new strain to start to take clones from and start a rotation. I need to pick wisely though as i plan to stick with this one for along time.

I have read about 100 threads, and been searching all night. From what i can work out the best strain seems to be one of the above.

What do you guys all think??? Which is the best Strain??? Please also post your comments on them.

GD wish i could get that strain....

well seeing as how you have next to no chance of finding any Generals Daughter beans for sale anywhere and the seeds being sold as C99 these days are just unstable hacks and not the real thing, I don't see as how you have much choice in the matter.


It's gotta be the Russian really as it's the only one available from your 3 choices, and it's certainly a fine choice, it's fast flowering, very potent, gives a decent yield and it certainly looks the part. The only reason it might not be the strain for you is if taste is a big factor for you, the flavour of the Russian is definately a combination of it's two parents ( WW and AK-47 ) neither of which I'd consider to be particularly nice tasting varieties.

Growin organic WR, 600whps, bout a month to 3 weeks veg, then 8 1/2 weeks 12/12 and voila 2oZ+ frm a plnt getting about 9per meter squaredl. Nice smoke. Never seen c99 or GD but by the sounds of things GD stretches a fair bit but cant speak from experiance

Generals Daughter are not available full stop? But after a little more reading i dont think GD are good for me, too talll and stretchy for my 3 1/2 foot gro.

Also C99 are really hard to find. I can find c99 x with other stuff, but is this really what i want??

White russian sounds good, and i can get hold of the beans, but i really want the trippy c99 stone.

I think i will start a new thread and see if anyone knows where to get c99 beans from.

I'm flowering GD alongside Sk/Hz atm & have really noticed how well the GD has handled the cold where the Sativa just stalled. Fortunately I was vegging for clones at the time so ... by the by.

Not ultra extreme cold (lowest drop was to 10C in the cab) but it proper showed up in growth rate. Almost two weeks it took for the Sats to start up again.
