hi all
i am planing to do ten plants nft method.
seeds were started a week ago in 1 inch rockwool cubes
they are showing signes of roots but no leaves yet.
when should i start to feed them?
wot are the lighting requirements i have them in the cupboard,
should i get them out now and put them under a 38 watt 2d fluro light, if so for how long
till i put them under my 125 w enviro lamps.

give them plain water until the roots start to come through the rockwool.
they need light from the word go to provide energy for growth so put your enviro in but keep it a couple of feet from the plants to start with and bring it down a little each day.
plants need to be sexually mature before flowering or cloning. this usually happens at between 2 and 3 months often when there are 7 or 8 sets of leaves (branches) on the main stem. you can get an idea of sex at this point if you haven't already taken early cuttings to do this.

i put mine 1 foot from 125 enviro from word go and one feed of half strength nutes first week then plain tap water [ ph,ed] then after about a week they go into ebb and flow tray on full stength nutes but depends how strong they are really , when you put your plants under lights have a look to see if they show any signs of shock after 1 hour move the lamp away a bit, if not leave it
