Hi, I have a oil-filled rad...

I wish to wire a thermostat to a 4-gang socket to control fans and a 800w heater.

I have already wired a honeywell thermostat to a tube-heater which has worked perfecetly for months, but i read heaters are dangerous with this sort setup.

What do you think and do you think its safe to run?

(ps: anyone know of a place i can get a humidstat?, apart from tlc which sell for £25, expensive)

As for the rad heater, I would personaly use a seperate thermostat for each appliance. I have one on my oil filled rad and one on my fan, works nicely and is safe.
