morning all,
i always use clonex with good results and have now bought some gel4plugs cos of an
advertisement i saw,has anyone used it? and what kind of results were you getting? How long did
it take for them to take root? or if it did not work aswell or did not work at all.Its just i dont want to
fuck my clones up using it,and want to know if i should just get some more clonex.i know,i know,if
it aint broke.....

hi goosteruk.
Ive used Gel4plugs and think is just as good as clonex, if not better and cheaper. Its easier to use as its got the squeezey bottle, just fill up your planting hole in your cutting cube eg. rockwool, fleximix or root riot (does not work as well in jiffy 7's) and put your cutting in. The gel gives some support to the stem and ive found its roots quicker buy a few days in comparison to clonex.
i would recomend it..

just a quick bump to say that I've been using this stuff religiously now due to pretty much 100% sucsess rate clone wise ... so that's a thumbsup from me

i aint used clonex before so i cant compare but iv had 100% success too with it mate

I can't compare it with anything else as it's the only product I've used in the last 18 months or so,I too have had 100% success rate.

Ive seen it advertised too, liked the look of it.
Sounds better that you pre-apply it to your rooting medium so you can take your cut and put it straight into the medium without having to dip it first, making the process quicker too.
