I started a thread over here
http://www.uk420.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=52132
but alas it isn't drawing any responses. So i thought i would reword it on here.
Right then,after PM'ing Joolz (cheers m8) concerning the Budget Filters,i was informed that there is a tendency for them
to fall apart if you tried to open them up for refilling (bummer)
So that means i am now going to purchase (from uk420 store)
a Vortice 125mm
Max output : 360 m3/h
Min output : 210 m3/h
connected to this will be
a Can CF160 Filter (due to space limitations)
Output: 160 m3/hour
(hopefully this doesnt fall apart when opened up ;-))
Here is Details / Description of Grow Space
Drobe
Internal Dimensions
H = 1220mm = 48”
W = 770mm = 30”
D = 420mm = 16.5”
Floor Area = 3.48 Square Feet
Cubic Volume = 13 Cubic Feet = .37 of a cubic meter (yes, that is POINT 37 )
Passive Inlet = 80 Square Inches (as is, at the moment)
This is situated in a spare room, BUT this room has no vents or window that opens (yes not very good i know)
It does however open onto a hallway that is quite draughty(plenty of air change)
There is NO way i can INTAKE or EXHAUST anywhere other than from/into the room itself
(ie i cant knock holes through walls etc,the landlord would not be amused)
Here is my Intention
I am going (would like) to put a 250W HPS Lowbay (modded with remote ballast and aircooled using above fan)into this Drobe
in an arrangement like this
FILTER ==> LIGHT ==> FAN ==> EXHAUST
For normal running i would like to run on the lower speed setting on the Vortice in conjunction with a B&Q fan controller
to slow it down a little more to match the output of the Can CF160 Filter.
This would then afford me ample in reserve should i require it in the future.
Here it is then
My Questions ?
1. IS this feasible/possible (or have i got it figured wrong)
2. Do you think this will cool a 250W HPS in this size space.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Hoping someone can help
