will get a pic of the tank into you tomorrow
its a basic £50.00 b & q loft tank...in confined spaces you sometimes have to use a coffin tank from plumbers merchants but this was not the case here
we pumb the water round like a home central heating system with a £55 c/h pump
the water is automatically replaced by using a stop cock and tap like a toilet...with a facilitie to also drain to waste
the dehumidyfiers sit under the tables and also drain to waste ..... will show detailed pics ....tomorrow...
i will try and script the diary as simple as poss and pay as much attention to detail as my brain can cope with
with traditional and unconventional growing
if the odd bit of info helps or saves you some pennies...great...and good luck...if it lures you into experimentation and you bugger up.....i will blame someone else !!

any info on the strain (s) you will be growing
will you be growing from seed or clone
wot nutrients etc...etc

Jan 25 2006, 10:38 PM
with regards to the strain
there is two that i work with...and...i am ashamed to admit that i am clueless to there names
i have always sourced seeds from the main seedbanks sensi/dutch passion/greenhouse e.t.c and from friends and anyone else here and around the world
normally having a go at crossing the more stable ones e.t.c...my carefull labelling process was open to human error..( me )...now left just calling them no1 & no2...not only am i lacking in brains but also imagination !!
this lot will be strain number 1 ..if you see similar characteristics/comparible features to anything you know or have grown ...please..let me know..
the stock will all be clones
veg nutes will be eco grow with occasional nitrogen fixing
bloom is eco bloom with some gibberelins spray
pk13 for a week and thats about it on the nut/chemical side

As promised her are some more pics.
The first one shows the girls at day14 in veg on 15hrs.
The next pic shows them on
Day1 (12hrs) but still on veg feed. I'll keep feeding them veg until day 14ish.
You can just make out where I've tied the bigger girls down in the second shot. This is so they are all the same height also it helps to fill in gaps left by the smaller ones.
They seem quite happy grwing horizontal as well as vertical
I'll keep posting new pics on a weekly basis to show progress.
They normaly finish on day 44 which I reckon should be 23rdMarch

( phargrow or monroe south) for about £35
just add a bit of grow as and when i think they need it
should have little gaps left come next week
wil keep all posted

as promised the day 14 of flowering
added last weeks pic ( day 7 ) so you can guage the seven days growth
flushed it out and added some floweing nutes
using house and gardens hydro mix for the next 14 days
its then the more bud intensive eco-bloom after that
will give details of what day i change nutes , spray with gib , decrease light from 12 to 11 , add pk13 and finally flush
anticipate cropping in 28/30 days time

the nft system does the job and its hard to fault
but..you do lose a slight edge of quality up against the organic growers
still..happy with it thus far
