Alright all? Recently, me and some mates got together and realised that it was time to take our first trip to dam! Much to my surprise however, i am completely overwelmed by the number of hostals and hotels there are to choose from. So far we are seriously considering budget acomodation. The less money on a room the more for your droor right>?
At the same time none of us want to wake up with all our money and possesstions gone. So far i have two places we like the look of. Hans brinker , Kerkstraat 136-138 and Hotel Clemens Raadhuisstraat 39.
Clemens is a bit nice but the prices arnt that high if you take the bog standard room take a look,,, http://www.clemenshotel.nl/index.html

Hello, i sometimes stay at a place called the Mevlana (its on the nieuwe zijds voorburgwal) near a biggish shopping centre, bout 1 minute walk from dam sq. It is about 18 or 20 quid a night last time i stayed. The rooms are basic and have a shared bathroom/toilet on each floor, but they are only small floors. They also let you smoke herb in your room (great when all the shops are shut)

The Hemp Hotel is great, and cheap. Depends how many of you there are though, as theyve only got a few rooms.
