Anyone growing sats or sat dom hybrids needs space, otherwise they would not consider growing them, 15 is nothing to grow out. I don't know, but if each var was individually packed, it would not be a seed mix. Everything written says so re:-
The general idea of growing out a diverse mix of genetic types like this, is to find a keeper or keepers of plants that you really like.
Its a chance to grow 5 crosses made from outstanding vars, all of which are outside the Dutch seed pool.
I would keep a numbered backup of each femail as soon as she shows sex, because one or more of them may blow your socks off and sure as hell you would regret it if you did not have a back up. Once you have something outstanding with care you can have it for as long as you still want it.
I agree OT1, I need to know what I am growing. I do not care for pot-luck, I need to know so that it is a referance for future practices and referal to such.
As to growing outstanding variations outside the Dutch seed pool, NJxOE comes immediately to mind on recent endeavours. I do have back-up, as does ACE and 420. First people I made them available to.
I hate 'growing in the dark' on 'mixes'. Breeders should state their wares and not let growers guess on a mix of sats and indicas. A huge variance in growing regimes, I might add.
I have had words as to this in certain quarters. We shall see.
