what a classic fudge bodge by the government - to tease sick people into thinking they can get some relief to justify the anti cannabis propoganda and then leave people hanging dazed and confused, including GPs and PCT.


like someone with MS hasnt got enough to deal with - what a friggin mess. Sounds like dealing with people like THC4MS and BB is just a whole pile easier and smoother for people.


gotta remember, this medicine probably wouldnt have been forced out into the open without people like THC4MS supplying people with cannachocolate.. one step forward that wouldnt have happened without you guys taking the huge risks you do.

just read a bit more on the thc4ms site about the cost of cannachoccy vs sativex.. whilst its good theres a medicine made of whole plant extract but bad that 1) its not available widely and easily and 2) worst of all theyve made it cos almost 10 times the price of cannachoccy!!!

I dont have MS, but have Hypermobility and Fibromyalgia both of which cause IBS - causing chronic pain, fatigue and depression, poor digestion, anorexic tendencies. Neither the hypermobility or FMS will cure themselves, was born with it and will die with it... I know from experience of using cannabis on and off that a little bit of canna regularly totally brings me back to almost being a normal human being. Been turned down by my GP and waiting to find out the exact reason and where the block is.

Jumping through hoops for Sativex

Tis my turn to try for sativex today, after reading Bartmans post ^^^^^^^^^ i aint holding my breathe.

I've got a headache now ffs

Sativex didn't even get a mention the whole appointment was doing tests and probing things now i've got to go give blood "n" piss @ the drop in centre in the morning, make another appointment for 3 weeks (yeah right ring up on 11th and hope theres one for the 13th) for the results and hopefully mention it then.

Ah well onwards and onwards.

bugger! eh.. more waiting.

Had to take mrs dikki to the doctors today, so after he'd finished the consultation I broached the subject & to my amazement he was very interested in sativex & seems willing to put me forward for it...

If anyone has any details on what I need to take with me (& what would be wise for me to take) to the appointment... please let me know either here or by PM

a named patient only shedule 1 licence

gp will have peeps on cd shedule 1

with severe spinal pain untreatable , whilst giving a qulity of life, is also relevant

then correct them by saying this is an unlicensed drug but prescribable under shedule 1

then write a strong letter to head of pct complaining about mis-information.

My Gps have made it quite clear they find the word "Cannabis" to be offensive and will refuse to even allow any mention of the subject. But they do want to make sure I have enough Codeine and Pethidine ... urm .... "its not easy, bangin' your head up against some mad bugger's wall."

They do think its a good idea that I do some gardening though!
