Evening all

Right, so i was impatient and transferred my 3" rockwool cubes into the NFT before the roots were poking out of the bottom of one of the cubes. Growth with this seedling has been slow, low and with leaves curled at the edges.

Now i think it's going to make it - lots of roots have started coming from higher up in the cube, but i was wondering what the long term implications of this will be. Is there anything i need to do to make it recover? Has it stressed it a lot (its a feminized plant - dp power plant)? And if i flower a clone will it reveal any hermie traits???

Thanks for any help

If the roots are not brown then its not root rot but if it is with there not being many roots on it I'd take it out.It will only spread to the others.Other wise just bare with it.

Also treat with cannazym or similar just to protect the remainder wink.gif

Oh and under your name it says you are growing in compost whistling.gif lol.gif

i'd put clean water (no nutes) in there for a week to get the roots extending. i'd also use sensi zym to digest the dead stuff and rhizotonic which claims to be a root stimulator for already rooted plants. adjust pH to your normal figure.

In NFT there will be some roots out of the warter even when you have a full rootmat coz they have air roots too

OK - thanks all. Going to lay off the nutes to try and tempt out the roots, give it a go with Zyme and Rhizo, and see how it develops.

And i'll update my profile imminantly.
